It looks really good Scott. The combination of the heat and steam keeps the meat nice and moist. Very little shrinkage too 👍🤤😀 Great video.

1. 1 cup water on bottom. 2. Layer chicken in the basket. 3. 25 mins @ 400 Steam & Crisp. 4. Flip chicken around. 5. Top up water if necessary. 6. 12 mins @ 390. 7. Check chicken, cook longer if necessary.

Wow! Look at the price of those chicken drumsticks! I sure which they still cost the same! And are you sure those are 'chicken' drumsticks and not turkey!? 🤣 They are huge! Thank you so much for the help! Gonna try it tonight!

Just wanted to clarify: is it a total of 25 min at 400deg? One of the comments above had it running for an extra 12 min, or is that 12min the half way point?
@ScottCooks10 ай бұрын
It was 25 mins total time. Flip at 12 mins. Sorry for any confusion. Thanks for watching!

Can this be done with frozen chicken legs?
@ScottCooks Жыл бұрын
Yes I normally use frozen. Depending on amount of legs just adjust pressure time a little

@@ScottCookspressure for how long and then air fry for how long as well? Thank you Scott. I have the Ninja foodi 9in1 and it has the steam option separate from the air crisp

I brought back the other foodi today and bought this one. Made the drumsticks tonight. Thanks to your recipe they were awesome! I was wondering do you have to clean the smart lid after ea use? I love your channel. Husband was happy. :) First home cooked meal Now going to try veggies
@ScottCooks2 жыл бұрын
no I don't clean after each use. Really depends on what I'm cooking.

Spot on. Important though, you do not 'touch the bone' with the thermometer. That gives a false reading. All the best and sorry if dozens have said this.

@flipflopwitsoc2 жыл бұрын
You more likely have a different version ninja. So you probably have the Air Crisp option and or the bake/roast option. Use the bake/roast option first then air crisp for the final cook. Hope that helps.
@Amy-uz2vj2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this, I have to point out on the package, back in 2022 the price and now we are paying $12.00 to $18.00 bucks, and Biden said the inflation is under control, LMAO! Thanks again for this delicious yummy!!!
