I know there's a 'hundred' different ways to do the same thing in Photoshop :) I find using the Selective Color adjustment layer and then editing the Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black of the Whites to remove hot spots....just add an inverted layer mask and brush on the hot spots on the skin

haha yeah i thought i was too but it was so simple... the light was just the single light at a 45 degree to model and adjusted the power for exposure. really wasnt anything fancy The edit was the fancy part. lol
