Thanks for the direction, and showing how you use these products. I don't really know what I am doing lol so the level of detail you put into these videos is definitely appreciated, and helps me learn how to do this better. So thank you for creating and being so detailed! I spent all of my life with shorter hair, but I grew it down long in recent years, so techniques to safely style and hydrate longer hair is something entirely new I am learning. Previously thinking my hair was pretty straight, like type 1a-1c, I started noticing how it was trying to wave after drying so I ended up buying some Cantu curl activator cream in an attempt to bring out the wave more! I also think I might give their avocado shampoo a go soon also because currently the only product of theirs that I am using is the Curl Activator cream. And also I have to say, your curls are absolutely incredible!!

I'm glad I could be of help! I know that not everyone loves the detail I put in, but it's always helped me to understand, so it's good to hear that other's appreciate it as well. Honestly, I was pretty similar. Growing up, my mom always cut my hair short. I had no idea what to do with it or how to take care of it once I grew it out. It can take some time to figure it out. But hopefully I can be of some help to you ☺ and if you have any questions, feel free to ask! I'm always happy to help.

I haven't tried the curling cream but I looooovee the curl activator. I've realized that I can be a little heavy handed with the curl activator and it never weighs my hair down or makes it look greasy. So many other curl creams I've tried are too heavy for me, I have 2c/3a hair. It works really well with LA looks gel.

The curl activator is definitely one of my favorite products. Even now, a few months after making this video, I still reach for it over a lot of others. I haven't tried it with the LA Looks Gel though. I'll have to give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion. ☺️

Hi i just would like to know can you put heat on your hair when you have Cantu products in your hair....coz sometimes i do not want the wet cantu look
@Linas_lovelylocks2 жыл бұрын
I'm going to be honest, I'm not entirely sure what the wet cantu look is. 😅 But I always diffuse my hair after using these products and then I'll scrunch it and fluff it and it does work very well without making my hair look crunchy or wet. So from my experience, I would say that's fine to use heat with these products.

@@Linas_lovelylocks 😅 to be honest i though it was called a wet look 😂 thank you for your feedback...much appreciated....guess i have much to learn ❤🙏🏻

@@benorita5246 oh! I see what you're saying now. Sorry for the confusion. I've actually never tried the wet look. But yes, you can definitely use these products for a more soft, bouncy look and they're great if used with a diffuser. ☺️ I hope that helps.

Thx 🎉+ if the shampoo and conditioner have no protein so do you think it would work on my dry and low porosity curls 😢
@Linas_lovelylocks Жыл бұрын
I would give it a try! I do like both of them on my low porosity hair, but mine isn't as dry. I bet these would be good for it though. My biggest recommendation though if you have dry low porosity hair is to find a good hair mask and use a heat cap to help lift the cuticle to get the moisture into your strands. Hope that helps!
