Thank you, Chris, for this deep and vulnerable (the number of times failure was mentioned) conversation. Avital, you ROCK!!! Key take aways: - Always make the ASK - Define your boundaries (and ceiling as Mo Gawdat would say) - Be obsessed with feedback - Create value for people - Failure is the making of you #doubledip

“It is enough”. Yes!! As a 36-year-old mom to a 2 1/2-year-old boy who’s struggling to balance motherhood and work life, I needed to hear this!! Thank you!

I listened to this podcast yesterday as I was working out and I was so excited* to hear Avital’s perspective on asking for what you need-even when there’s a chance of hearing ‘no.’ Her approach to not just accepting a ‘no,’ but responding with, ‘Well, who else should I connect with?’ is such a powerful reminder of the doors that can open when we’re fearless and willing to stay engaged. Avital’s authenticity shines through so clearly in every word. It’s inspiring to see someone so rooted in their true self, confident in her vision, and open to possibilities-even if they come from unexpected places. She embodies what it means to be unapologetically yourself, and that’s a lesson worth holding onto. Thank you, Avital, for showing that ‘no’ is rarely the end of the road and that authenticity isn’t just a quality-it’s a strength.

18:21 I like how she differentiates between the “readers” versus potential clients because there honestly is a separation there. Not every audience segment is meant to be monetized.

I can see how she got all those interviews and connections if her energy was the same as it was here. As humans, we tend to match energy, I can see her positivity coming through and making the other person not wanting to volley back a negative response to her. Also, I noticed as Chris does joke when he has different guests, but I feel like he's laughed and smiled a lot more in this one as he fed off of her laughing and smiling and positive energy. One the thing I learned here, is that she's just being herself and that's the most receiving thing that you could do to another individual and whether they realize it or not they appreciate it.

@AvitalEusgeld, I loved how you broke down the steps to fostering secure attachment! It’s such a foundational piece for building a child’s confidence and resilience. Research in neuroscience shows that secure attachment helps regulate a child’s nervous system, creating a ‘felt safety’ that empowers them to explore the world, make mistakes, and bounce back stronger. The idea of scaffolding this process is such a powerful reminder-thank you for capturing it so clearly!

Chris, I'm so with you on not sharing food with anyone except my wife. I don't eat or drink after my kids, or allow them to share with each other if they've already germ-ified it. I tell myself that's why my kids don't get sick as often as those in other families. I don't care if I'm weird.

The idea of connecting with adults during adolescence is something I resonated quite a bit with. I feel like 10 years ago me would’ve been more comfortable and confident at that donor event than current me 😅 I’m 26 now but I have to admit that at some point in my 20’s Ive started to have self conscious thoughts of “maybe I’m being naive because I’m only 20 something.” “how could I possibly have anything of value to share here?” This helped perk up some confidence to have new conversations with people and that I have something valuable to offer and share to people. *Edit: cuz I just got to 49:25 . Honestly double dip yolo

Other than the fact that she went viral with a complaint (people naturally read complaint messages way more -triggers our brains-, than positive messages), she really has nothing substantive to say. She doesn't go into depth anywhere, doesn't get technical about her public speaking or brand profession. She starts giving context about herself by telling about the family she grew up in (doctor, investor, so it would rub off on her?) that she needed to show up prepared for dinner table conversations else her family would not take her seriously. On one hand it’s pretty clever to share it, since she positions herself as someone who isnt superficial. So she got her superficial listeners instantly believing it. On the other hand it’s stupid, the more indepth people are thinking, great let’s see how rich and indepth it gets. But no. This could have been told in 5 minutes. Conclusion, there is a reason why she still remembers how ‘prepared’ she needed to be for those family dinner table conversations.

A general question concerning content, in 99% of cases social media gurus are recommending CONSISTENCY and QUALITY. So my honest questions is can you post 2 -3 times a day, every day, for a prolonged period? Let's do a simple calculcation for a 3 months of content 1 day = 3 QUALITY pieces of content Week = 21 QUALITY pieces of content Month = 84 QUALITY pieces of content 3 months = 252 QUALITY pieces of content If we say that we remix and repurpose and repost the 50% of this content we are left with 126 QUALITY pieces of content. Ok, we know that video is the best format, so imagine creating 126 QUALITY pieces of content per quarter?!?!? Guys, let's be honest if we are talking about real quality, either everyone has a huge team behind content creation and even then the quality cannot be so high consistently or they are making BS. For example, if we take that Philip Kotler's and Gary Armstrong's "Principles of Marketing" is a QUALITY book, which was written and then perfected over the years and use as a university book, how can we compare this quality with the quality of the single social media post that lives, a day, a week, on occasion someone visits it after couple of months? And furthermore, everyone does it? :D It is BS quality, and there is not enough people in the world to read it :D LOL
