Thank you Sam and Chris 📝 My notes: be known for something you do well, model after successful people that have the audience/traction you want and save their posts you like to recreate them, have a post to fit on a single screen with an easy grade level comprehension, nail the hook headline 🪝first 2-3 lines creating irresistible curiously.

Chris is a creative who likes to bring abstract and idealistic ideas and concepts to a more realistic and practical approach for people to be able to apply it in real life. I like the way you try to bring your creative guests to earth 😅

Solid insights on leveraging LinkedIn, especially the part about engaging with your network. One under-the-radar tactic is to join and actively participate in niche LinkedIn groups where your target audience hangs out. This can lead to more meaningful connections and potential leads since you're contributing to conversations they care about.

How did you know I just made my LinkedIn profile 5 days ago? I absolutely love it. I was very scared to join because I have no degree. But wow, it's so much better than Facebook. Looking forward to finding clients there and honing my skills. Thank you.

Hey, I've been active on LinkedIn for the past 2 years and it's there that I've gained nearly 7k followers. I don't have a degree too! Start connecting with your potential clients and your competitors to see how they do the things they do to grow and find your voice. Be present and keep on learning. All the best!

It sounds like crafting something he is proud of, sharing it, and having people respond in a way that satisfies his need to be valued and appropriated, is what motivates him. Man, that might be quite fulfilling. Thanks again… Cheers

Great tips; thank you. As a scientist trying to move from academia into the private market, personalizing and creating what honestly sounds like superficial content is not easy at all for me. Still, that is the reality of the marketplace. Apperance is more important than substance, again, as a scientist, not my selling point. I sure have my work cut out for me.

I honestly dont care so much about the HOW to grow a following on LinkedIn, but rather WHY. This is not an attack, but an honest request. The HOW is usually never really important, but the WHY is most of the time very important in the pursuit of X. Also might add WHO. Who should care to why to grow a following on LinkedIn :) And Chris, i know you can give a great take on this, and not any of that shallow bs that many would do, so thats why i am asking HERE :)

They go over this in the podcast, but if you can grow on linkedin you can make more sales. Especially if you create towards your ICP, then you will even find that leads come to you!! Hopefully that answers your question!
@KristianTheDesigner
@KristianTheDesigner 8 ай бұрын
@@BrunoPozo4Real yes, and thanks Bruno, but that is what i refer to as a bit of a bs-answer to the Why 😁 I rarely see anything but a contest in who can brag the most on LinkedIn, and very few actual ”sales”/conversions. Not talking about me not selling, but analyzing and watching others do it. Just so you understand, i do not call your response a bs response, Bruno..just had to make that clear 😁

@@KristianTheDesigner but the truth is people are making sales on Linkedin. Not everybody, that’s true, but my partner has gotten most of our clients through Linkedin. And at 42:57 he mentions how his clients have landed deals through linkedin as well. But it sounds like you are looking for a deeper WHY? But that's personal and can vary by person. Why do people do anything?? Cause they get something out of it like enjoyment, money, relationships, etc.. It just depends!
@thefutur

I think Bruno is pretty spot on, not sure what other response than growing your presence in a business "first" social platform where you can build your reputation you're looking for.

24:46 Chris Chat GPT prompt. 👍 and in reference to writing as simple as possible, one could argue that it requires a level of humility because you take away the need of sounding smart for the sake of helping as many people as possible.

Some amazing tips and direction for me to get started with for my design business. Thank you so much. 🙏🏼 One thing I did want to mention. And this will be a controversial comment. Is it just me who finds that there is something quite superficial and dare is say desperate about the whole social media space. It's almost like learning to fight for attention. I want to produce content from everything I've learned but I always stop as I feel cringy. Does anyone else get this? Maybe it's because secretly I tell myself, I'm so good at design why should I have to even compete.😂

Great content. Justin Welsh and other larger creators mentioned how they used engagement groups to grow quickly. They joined groups of 10-15 people who already had an audience and commented on each other's posts in the first hour, so the algorithm sent the content to more people. Is this something that still works on LinkedIn? How do we get into these groups of people who are already supporting each other's posts?

I see Sam’s posts in my LinkedIn feed very often - because some of the accounts I follow comment on them. Kudos to him for making it to 50k! But also how much of that success is attributed to him being coached by Justin Welsh? (Something that Justin posted about)

Good job explaining MANIFESTATION, Chris! 🎉 Your wife would approve! 😅 You incorporated both the ✨woo woo 🪄 & psychological perspectives 🧠. As a mental health therapist who often guides clients into manifestation I like to remind them that it involves using positive thinking, visualization & self-fulfilling prophecies to influence outcomes. Positive thinking broadens awareness and fosters new skills, visualization activates brain areas related to performance & self-fulfilling prophecies encourage behaviors that lead to success. Cognitive dissonance motivates you to change your behavior to better align with your goals & then the placebo effect shows the power of belief causing you to hit the “repeat” button… these psychological principles help create a mindset that enhances motivation, focus & resilience helping you meet your personal goals. 🎉Get it.
