The boss is a tough son of a gun! Assuming the girls were filming, awesome work by everyone.

Great job on video! I love watching the boss work! I learn a lot from your videos. It will be extra tricky to keep up the log supply to feed your LT-70! Great job family.

My boss would fire me if I cut the stumps so high !
@seymourunruh19312 жыл бұрын
The really high one was probably a rub tree used in selective skidding?

Love the video!! I log here in Southwest VA and we've got a 540G II skidder and their hard to beat. How many bells you running on your cable? Looked like several as you was dragging the cable.

We run 7 bells because of pulling pole wood

Fantastic video, I learned a lot. Although I generally like to be fed the learning via narration, I know you probably are a spectator yourself, and the Boss probably does not want to stop and explain everything when his real goal is to get lumber to the deck. However it can be fun to try and figure out what the Boss is doing by my observation, I will never know if I was right on all counts.

I wonder how you keep your work safety cut protection trousers for example
@acajutla2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the boss should consider using chainsaw protective chaps. Working alone in the woods is dangerous, a cut in a leg and it may be over in a few minutes. They also keep the dirt and moisture away, as opposed to bluejeans. Great camera work too 👍👌
