Thank You and his family for sharing Roy’s story and passion for his collection of the best era of cars. Truly a treasure of parts and cars, one couldn’t imagine how to manage such a collection of rare, unique pieces of history. Hopefully what couldn’t be sold was donated or put to auction elsewhere. Would be a shame to scrap those hard to find true original treasures. Thanks again for this, wish I could’ve been there, overwhelming to see I’m sure 😮……

They missed a chance to save auction commission- (40%?) and created a KZbin channel going through the inventory with features on the best cars, and segments on the sales- who bought the a car, and their plans, etc. sell direct and have a monetized channel.

Great video coverage of this event in spite of how overwhelming it was to take it all in, and the background information about the late owner/collector was a nice touch. For many folks who love cars but live in the city a car lifestyle this size is not possible due to rules and regulations, and it can be hard to understand why someone would do such a thing, but it's important to understand that, someone who is as committed to the hobby as this man was, does not feel "whole" without all that stuff that can be misunderstood as just a bunch of junk. Every item in that collection is valuable and represents important times in American history no matter how dirty or junky it may look and making this stuff available for purchase to the public now is the responsible thing to do and all of those items/vehicles will continue to live on. Keep rolling.....

It's incredible that one man could amass that many parts and cars. If we didn't know ahead of time, we would think you were at a decent sized swap meet somewhere. I'm glad you were able to get some of the backstory on Roy. If I had the money and the land to store everything, I'd probably be the same way! (Although probably on a smaller scale) Thanks for bringing this to us.
