I love 58 Impalas but never got into the hydraulic lowriders because The weird angles they put the cars at and the way they bounce them around tears the cars suspension, frame, and even the cars body apart. So many beautiful cars have been destroyed from being lowriders. I hope this beautiful 58 doesn't meet that same fate. Lower it? Sure. Give it air bags? Great. But please don't twist it, tilt it diagonally, or bounce it around --- it's a car, not a basketball.

Looks just like my first car after graduating high school in 78!! Bought a 68 charger with the 383 and all the goodies!! Interior looks exactly like the one I had but mine was red with the black vinyl top!! Boy if that car could talk the stories it would tell !! Lots of back seat boogie, quarter mile strip racing, keg party's , fastest I ever went in a car was 135 in my 68 charger!! Wish I kept her with what they are going for nowadays!!

Back when cars were huge and fuel economy did not exist. I love classic cars and have owned many buy this particular era (muscle car) were senseless built cars. Large, loud, bad handling and styling was not exactly the best. I love this woman's story though and well preserved car.

Some of the coolest wheels ever. integrated drum, I was acquainted with a guy who had a 2+2 convertible. He claimed the convertible was quicker because the folded down top added weight over the back wheels for better traction with skinny tires.
