Thanks so much for the support on this play through! This series is now being live streamed. I'm still putting them in the series playlist, trying to stick to a topic and numbering them. kzbin.info/aero/PLSp1Hi2n3CXNEvyVbz93kc78N8VECU7Kl We've hit the point at ep 15 where the things I want to do can take 10-12 hours of gameplay or more and then editing all that will take me days. Viewer interest has dropped which is normal this far in, so I'd like to spend the extra time on other video projects like guides and such that more people are interested in watching.

One thing you could do to mix things up is go back and play old expeditions. 🤷🏻‍♂️ There is a mod on nexus mods that lets you play the old ones, and it’s pretty easy to install and uninstall. Though they recommend you turn off internet while playing them, so it might take an extra step if you’re streaming. Maybe just deny NMS access to internet temporarily?

Things I like to do on my end game saves to keep interest: build them a nice end-game worthy base, get everything to max (S-class or better across the board, all slots unlocked, etc), max out a frigate fleet, build farms for the things you can't buy, get a unique customization from my other saves, find a matching multitool and ship.... the whole 9 yards lol

Love the videos and streams you need to make a list/bulletpoints of things to do per episodes, and if it's stuff you can't do til a certain point put it in farther episode make it where you know you can do 20 episodes an not be bored by episode 15 cause you Don have ideals to do

FYI, the guilds are the same in the same region of space . To find another guild, in the Galactic map, find another region. And have fun being a bob. Lol

@@Luca_Natoli If you are on PC, you can use a save editor to get the Normandy expedition rewards, and other rewards. There is also a mod that lets you replay old expeditions. 👍🏻

32:00 Those little crab/squid things like to follow you in the water and just run into you for whatever reason. They instantly die taking a small amount of your shield (or an entire hp section), and give you their meat and mordite. Mild nuance really. However, they tend to travel in packs, so can overwhelm you quickly if you're not paying attention

Thanks for the video. If you did not know, the freighter exocraft summoning station is available 2 places. On the Anomaly for 1 salvaged data, or on the freighter for 1 salvaged frigate module.

The reason they give you the schematic for the Exocraft summoning station at the beginning of this mission is so that you don't have to keep whipping out your Minotaur Geobay every time you land on a planet in the same system. Of course the freighter exocraft station would serve the same purpose, but you do need to leave 1 Minotaur geobay somewhere or it will say you don't own a minotaur when you try to summon it in with the X menu.

10:31 "Phylactery" is pronounced "fah-lack-tah-ree" Bob. Essentially, the word means a holding device. Usually, for magic or other esoteric things. Interesting that it's being used in a Sci-fi context, but not unheard of

10:42 "Ariadne" is pronounced "Are-ree-ah-d-nay" Bob. She's the daughter of a Titan (the immortals before the Olympian deities) and a human, in Greek mythology. And it's her magical ball of yarn that allows Theseus to enter the Minotaur's Maze, slay the Minotaur, and then find his way back out again. And yes, I know all of this off the top of my head 😅

Guilds are now connected to Regions in Space. If you are in XY region (you can see that on the galaxy map), the guild will be the same in all of the region's systems. Travel to another region to find another Guild.

Hey Bob. Thought you might get a kick out of this. I randomly logged into my Cartographers Expedition, which I didn’t finish, and forgot I had a squid ship! So, just started kicking around, doing the thing, farmed a bunch of money from sentinal ships, and was trying to find a rifle on par with the bad ass double laser on the expedition. After about 12-13 camps, I found my first S-Class Sentinal Multi-Tool in the wild. What do you think the odds are of finding an S Class MT-with only one supercharged slot?! ChatGPT said “due to the random nature of procedural generation, it is possible, however it would be extremely rare.” But then! Redemption. Spent a few hours looking for a freighter. After about 15 reloads-S Class! One of the big Korvax tall ones. To quote the great Han Solo, “never tell me the odds!” Hope ya had a great day if you stumble on this.

Have you noticed the salvaged loot canister, in my opinion, seem to be deeper than before requiring a bit of digging since the New Worlds update?

All the Anomaly NPC residents are named for ancient Greek (demi)gods or heroes; 'Teethis' should be pronounced 'Tethys' as spelled (& you got right once) :) The Paralysis Mortar b/p you gained from the quest should include the similar upgrade for the Minotaur. Like all Minotaur weapons it chews thru ammo when in combat (its major disadvantage IMO; ensure you have plenty reloads in the mech!), but it still can be useful to have an autonomous mech throwing paralysis bombs around in combat, despite its poor chance to hit! :) If you get the Freighter mech bay upgrade you won't need to carry around the necessary plates etc to make individual stations per planet: simply summon your freighter to your current system (WHICH DOESN'T REQUIRE/USE FUEL IN THE FREIGHTER) & call whichever craft you wish as required. This method /does/ require at least 1 appropriate exocraft pad to exist, tho, so build one at your settlement or some other remote place & forget about it :) Mech AI can be turned off without uninstalling (likewise your new drone, Laylaps), but I forget the key to do it ATM :(

"Helios" is pronounced "Heel-lee-os" Got to pronounce the "i" in the too Bob. By the way, Helios is the Greek Titan of the Sun. Road in his Chariot across the sky, pulling the sun after him. Eventually the Titans were replaced with the Olympians in Greek mythology. You'll know the Olympians *way* better. That's Zeus, Hera, Hades and the lot

can someone explain the point of the minotaur (save just looking cool). When your multitool shreds (like bob's does) ... why ever both with the minotaur? does it shred MORE? are it's protective qualities worth the hassle of teleporting it in? I have mine fully upgraded after this quest line and it just sits there at my base looking pretty.

Honestly normal is so easy with upgrades it’s more just for show. Should be great in Perma though to have a distraction and something else shooting.

I have been reluctant to do perma because my ONLY death currently in normal was a bug (shooting the ground in the xenocraft killed me :p) so makes me reluctant to do perma only to experience the same thing randomly. But the wingman minotaur in that would be useful, yeah

Series is now being live streamed. At this point the episodes take 2-3 times as long to make and get 1/3 the views. I got more views from the last two live streams than ep 15. And I get to interact with the a lot of the audience live.

Would be nice to ha e a few episodes going forward ...seeing you ship hunt with the minotaur etc. Like you show us how to get set up, but not why we would set up. Yeah i know you get bored and lose i terest...but maybe a few episodes ?
