I understand what you’re trying to say, but to be able to run such a race, or any race is quite a privilege. That guy is awesome and he’s extremely lucky to be able to train and race on events like this one. Of course you will encounter highs and lows on a 250mile race but, people’s « valid » problems (like financial problems, illness or any stuff like that) can be much worse than signing up to a race and decide to suffer because trail races are hard, and after some distance, the suffering starts inevitably. Running is a privilege.

Congratulations to you both. Your race and fight are no less as remarkable as what Chadd accomplished! Keep fighting one more day and lean not on your own understanding. Lean on the Lord. If no one has ever shared the Gospel with you, I would like to take this opportunity to do that. The Apostle Paul's says in Roman's 3:23 all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. When we admit that it's step one Then when you hear the Gospel (1CORINTHIANS 15;1-4) the death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and his shed blood, Paul tells us when we believe that in our heart, that the Holy Spirit seals us till the day of Redemption. Ephesians 1:13 So if you believe that you are now saved✝️✝️✝️ God will light your path🙏🙏🙏your free!!!! Now get a KJV and study Roman's first, and God will lead you, I pray for both of you right now that God will strengthen you and give you peace✝️✝️✝️

I often push myself in ways others don't want to push themselves. I never understood where it came from but it's good to see guys and girls out there doing much more. Next time I find myself 10 miles into the mountains at sunset when it was supposed to be a chill afternoon at home, and question my decisions, I'll have your example to live up to and keep running. Loved the video, great work out there everybody. Hats off to Chadd.

Chad, I live in Marietta. I started watching your KZbin channel in Jan.-2024. I just watched ONE MILE OUT. I have forwarded ONE MILE OUT to several friends and told them they must watch the entire video. I can't say enough as to how your crew and you have become a HUGE motivational force for me. I have fairly serious orthopedic issues with my Lumbar section of my lower spine. Three surgeons have told me surgery will not be of any benefit. I couldn't walk 100-feet without pain engulfing my low spine. ONE MILE OUT! I've taken the motivation I get from you to now go from a limit of 100-feet to walking 1/3 of a mile. Sounds like little consequence. I still have the same pain as before but now I tell myself to grab the bull by the snout. I have had Ranger's tell me pain let's you know you are alive. You said this in ONE MILE OUT. I plan to contact you when I do 1-mile! Pray for our Republic! God Bless you!

The words my soul continued to tell my body during SFAS back in 2009, "IT CAN'T LAST FOREVER".... No matter what it is in life that you are going through, Always remember that Our Heavenly Father has created an amazing vessel that our souls ride in.... Just because I got a chevette doesn't mean it can't beat a corvette.... As a believer the end is already established, it's your drive that chooses the beginning.... You have no idea how much I needed to see this. At 55 years old I just had a total heart block and had a pacemaker installed. I went from one minute being in Law Enforcement to wondering what my purpose is going to be now. This gives me inspiration to find what's next and to face it head on no matter what it is. To live life the best I can. I've taken too much for granted. Thanks Chad. I have a feeling that's why you did this. Not only to challenge yourself and find your purpose but to inspire those who have been knocked down a peg or two. Thank you and God bless you.

Happened to me @42 (2012). After a stint as an Army Grunt during ODS/S. Earning my CIB was my proudest moment. Began working at a level 5 in 97. Got promoted to Sgt in 2010 (my second proudest). Had to have 2 back surgeries in 2011 that ended my career. As MEN, we struggle without a purpose. Still struggling with my purpose, but we homeschool my youngest and I focus on that and protecting my family. I said all that to tell you that I know your struggle. Things happen to us when it's time for the next phase of life. It'll reveal itself. Stay strong! JJ-South Alabama

I’m from NE Georgia, I went to a job 50 miles west of Phoenix. In Ga. at tha5 time of year the humidity was in the 70-80%. In Phoenix it was 19% or less. My nose would bleed for no reason , I used more chapstick in 90 day in AZ. Than I’ve used in 40+ years combined. I loved AZ. because of low humidity. I did notice I was drying from the inside out as opposed to irrigating sweat from every pore in my body. I didn’t fell thirsty or depleted in the heat in AZ. But I knew I was drying to dying from the inside like beef jerky. I leave Ga. any day for Az. Just for low humidity, the high temperatures are nothing without the high humidity.

I’m 47. I’ve been coast to coast many times. I was a military brat. I have backpacked many miles. I have entered and won many marathons and biathlons. You have my respect, sir. God bless you and your family.

Im a Canadian, and just started watching Chad and co. I am blown away! Us Canadians pride ourselves on being able to push on in the rankest weather conditions, but I have been inspired by this and all of what Chad and co have done, and continue to do. Remember always Chad, that you have become an inspiration and hero to many now that the world has seen you! Keep up the fight you absolute WARRIOR!! Much love brothers, and god bless!!

I wish I could've been there man. We live in Arizona and my friends and I recently rode our motorcycles from Gilbert to Jerome, then Cottonwood and back down. Man, now I feel like a pussycat! The prayer at the end was powerful. I knew you would make it. Shoot, the cameras were rolling! Hahaha! Outstanding effort bro! Standing ovation for your team!!!
