This is massive! One million without food and clean water? This must be addressed. Also, Sudan has another million displaced due to aggression. All across the Sahel region there is man-made turbulence and massive homelessness/displacement again due to religious aggression. Yet when a natural disaster happens the UN and other NGOs have difficulty helping because man-made catastrophes soak up resources. People we got to get it together now.

It is important to mention that the residents of Maiduguri have complained about deterioriating structure of dam. And despite the fact that over 800 million naira was allocated to fix the dam, the Maiduguri government decided it was better to line their pockets, and have the engineers put out a false report that there was nothing wrong with the dam. The real issues that need addressing are the simpletons in power, otherwise we would only be treating the symptoms and not the disease.
