Personally I think Link would win. Before you attack let me say two things and then say my reasoning. One I like Sora a lot same with Link, two opinions exist. Now onto my reasonings Link is shown to have a vast Arsenal with some of his most iconic ones being the hookshot, bow, and bombs along with that Link can enhance his arrows with certain types of magic i.e. Fire and Ice arrows. Also, just like with Link vs Cloud, Link can overpower Sora with this. Don’t forget it states “NO RESEARCH” right at the start so please think before you say please. Also Sora pausing was a tad BS

And it's actually still a good depiction of what a Death Battle with proper research requirements would look like. Sora really would be this badass if he wasn't kicked back to Level 1 in every game, neither of them did anything they haven't done in games or trailers, and Link really does have a weakness in his fighting style where he has to yank his sword out of the ground when he sometimes misses with his finishing blow. And Donald Duck really will cast Curaga right when it counts if you have his settings toggled right.

*SPOILERS* People are complaining why Sora paused the game... It's to show the audience that Sora could only use limit form. Even though he could instantly transform to limit, it's best to show the audience that limit is his only form option, just to prevent certain arguments in the comment section. He is. You have to 100% the game with spider man with only One stock at all times in exactly 4 hours and 47 minutes. Then after you fight Donald and Goofy as hidden challengers you have to quickly reset the console before the results screen. As soon as you boot up the game after that you'll fight sora who has 6 stocks while you only have one and start at 150% damage. He also has his final smash at the start of every stock. Just beat him to unlock after that.

@@racconbuilders3665 he 1 shot both donald and goofy then most likely did the same to sora before the 1v1 started even if link had access to his other items it would not help because sora would counter LITERALLY all of them With his magic and different keychains that change the keyblade(these give boost and different abillites to sora) and spells epsically with one spell called reflaga which blocks and throws back all forms of damage and that spell is in sora top 10 strongest spells in sword combat he has tangled with very skilled swordsmen in his life and beat them (he is also self taught to throw in a extra bone) and just like in the fight sora has access to 5 forms that heal him completely give him more power and change his style of fighting making him more versatile

KH fan here, they are not able to possess people, they are people. When someone die it gets divide in 2, a heartless and a nobody, a body without heart and a heart without body, normally nobodies have human form, so it would make sense to have a normal nobody link and a heartless black link

Sora Definitely has one hell of a speed advantage, he can zip at the speed of light just to kick lasers, he could parry all of Sephiroth's attacks even though they all happened within nanoseconds, and he deflected 1000 lasers within a minute

The thousand lasers thing was a special case since it happened inside Xemnas' Kingdom Hearts, where the usual physics were basically out to lunch. And Sora might be piggybacking off of the space powers being used by Xigbar and his Sniper servants to use Warp Snipe. However, blocking Sephiroth's rush is definitely a valid point.

SuperMech64 there’s no proof that the Nobodies’ attacks were light-speed. Lasers in fiction don’t always move that fast, as Star Wars has proven. Second, it didn’t happen in nano-seconds, and the Sephiroth boss in KH2 might not be canon. Finally, 1000? You sure about that? And again, not necessarily light-speed.

Take this with a grain of salt because I'm too lazy to look into it further, but the KH wiki says this about Xemnas' weapons. "The Ethereal Blades are sword-like blade-like beams composed of solidified ethereal energy which serves as the weapons of choice of Xemnas of Organization XIII. The energy they are created of is his element, Nothingness itself, which act according to Xemnas' will, allowing him to hold them without a hilt or handle. He can summon or dismiss them at will, and uses them primarily as bludgeoning weapons." Doesn't sound like a laser to me.

I'm a Zelda fanboy through and through, and even I admit that Link VS Sora is like Superman VS Krillin. Link has three things going for him over Sora, those being skill, strategy, and combat experience. But Sora beats him in every other category. He has a better healing factor, more powerful magic, extremely fast and agile, overwhelmingly more durable, and is overral far more powerful. Link barely manages to beat Cloud and Sephiroth, which is certainly impressive, but Sora defeated both of them with greater ease, and he also defeated Hades, and went toe-to-toe with Hercules, easily taking a fully powered punch from the demi-gods. Taking a punch from Hercules is equal to taking a 1,000 ton stone block to the face at 100 miles per hour, and Sora has no issues taking a punch like that. Sora sliced through 7 slabs of extremely thick solid stone like butter and weaponised them against Xemnas. Sorry Link, but against Sora, you meet your match.

I've always been amazing by this piece of animation. Whoever created this not only has extremely competent animation skills with sprites, pacing and choreography, but also a strong sense of faithfulness, og source representation and respect for the characters. See how Link didn't die for example? That's exactly what the Keyblade does. It doesn't kill people. It expells darkness from one's heart, which explains why Link's dark side came out. It's no coincidence at all. On the other hand, Link was a pretty formidable swordfighter on his own. That's how you animate a great fight sequence. I come every now and then to watch this. I'm both a Zelda and a Kingdom Hearts fan so you can tell what this means to me, having watched this since long ago.

JUST SAYING, Sora relying on magic alone is enough. Reflect is extremely over powered, not only is it an absolute defence, but it literally counters if attacked. Fire that follows you and if you include birth by sleep skills and magic like earthquake and Fire burst,etc... the potential is unbelievable. Flow motion and can quickly avoid anything, jumping and sliding on trees and flying. Those alone our classes link and that’s without mentioning forms

@@CrowofYharnam Sora didn't steal anything. They come with the territory of Kingdom Hearts by nature being partially Final Fantasy. Cloud can only use magic if he has that Materia equipped. Sora can cast magic without any magical crystal equipped, making him a better mage than Cloud. Not to mention he can combine his magic abilities into his swordplay.
