Batman most likely threw the batarang past Stark so that it would hit him on the return, then ducked out of the way of the proton cannon blast before it fired, and then waited until he explosive batarang exploded, as those things don't explode on impact.

I personally feel that in the suits, Tony wins due to just how much is put into his suit. The difference is that without the suit Tony is mostly just a rich guy with a smart mouth. Bruce without a suit is just as skilled and capable as before, he just doesn't have access to his utility belt.

Iron Man defiantly had more power level, but OMM's presentation is what made the outcome so acceptable. It was CLEAR that while Bat was invested in the fight, Tony was totally not into it. He was clearly going easy and getting drunk too. At the end, I highly suspect Jarvis "miscalculated" the power remaining on purpose, because he thought losing would help Tony get out of whatever funk he was in, which it did.

If Batman is given prep and Iron Man is not, they he is the likely winner. But for the sake of a fair fight, they either both get prep or neither get prep. And while Batman out of the two is undeniably the better at preparation and strategy (if only because he lacks the cocky attitude Stark has), Iron Man has undeniably better tech in the form of his suits, since he can summon them at his will and each of which are much more durable and powerful than most of Batman's arsenal. And make no mistake, Stark is no moron. He has a shitload of suits for many different situations, and if he knows he'll need a leg up in a fight, chances are he will take some time to prep in between martini glasses. He's not really a wimp either, as he has studied (and indeed enjoys using) at least a few martial arts, and he will push himself and his suits past their limits in times of danger. Not that I think he completely dominates. Fighting people leagues more powerful than himself is nothing new to Batman, even without prep. And while Iron Man is indeed no slacker in terms of strategy, combat prowess, and willpower, he is still trumped in these categories by Batman. Keep in mind, Iron Man has been matched and trumped in combat by those more skilled than him in hand-to-hand, including Captain America, and Batman is definitely as skilled if not more skilled in combat as him. Finally, while Iron Man's tech is definitely more powerful, Batman's tech is more varied, being built around stealth and taking people down with their weak points. Granted, Iron Man does kind of counter this with his analytical technology, but then again, sneaking past people with heightened sense isn't that new to Batman either. So if you're wondering where I' going with all this, I think Iron Man holds the advantages in raw power and tech, while Batman is the better strategist, fighter, and guy who take shitloads of damage and keep going. I think the difference comes in how high those advantages are. For most of Batman's advantages, Stark is not really that far behind, being capable of holding his own in each category. On the other hand, some of Iron Man's stats, namely in power and durability, are leagues higher than Batman's default tech. So, in the end, I'd give it to Iron Man.

This... really didn't feel at all to how the Batman would tackle Ironman. Ironman's suit gives him basically superhuman strength, spped and endurance that puts him easily over batman's skills in melee battle and thus, batman would avoid to fight toe to toe at all costs. This should have been more of a gadget battle than anything else, there's simply no way Batman's punches can actually do shit against Tony's armour. The animation and voice acting was great, mind you, the fight itself simply didn't feel at all like something that would actually happen.
