Hey Cheryl. Those bands are awesome and it does give me something else to do. I really thought we would have better Mexican food here. I wish I would've taken a photo of the one meal we had. They asked me if I wanted Salisbury steak and a baked potato. The baked potato was a Eighth 1/8 of a potato serve like a wedge. I guess we couldn't afford a whole potato for everybody.

Hey friend. They do a really good job here of keeping us in icewater. If I put one of those drink packets in one of the cups, they give us and then mix it in another cup. It has a really good taste. I did get spoiled having the bottles of water in my truck because they were perfect. Just something to adapt to. I hope you're doing well friend. I appreciate you. I was watching a TV show called law man bass Reeves and it is set in the late 1800s in Fort Smith and Van Buren.

I’m a type 2 diabetic and had an ulcer hole on my heel years back and they tried a wound vacuum on it but didn’t work to well so they did a skin graft type deal the thing is they used fish skin I put my hand on a bible on that and it healed up a short time after .

I guess I haven't been paying close enough attention Dennis, or maybe in denial about how bad it had gotten. I really did not realize you were unable to walk even a short distance, or even stand without support. I have been in a similar situation my friend, just not quite so dire. I want to tell you there is hope, it comes from faith and commitment. You can do this man, I know you can. Hockey players are tough, I've heard! After 8 months of laying down from the shattered foot we can finally walk again, and so will you. I will be going down to the Gulf Coast again soon and want to come see you. Oddly enough, I haven't taken anything for pain since I got out of surgery almost 3 weeks ago. I really could use some Tylenol. When the nurse practitioner comes to work on my foot, I'm going to ask her to approve some Tylenol PM so maybe I can get some relief and some sleep.

That made me laugh about the " test" I remember when my sister took my mom to the Dr and he asked her if she knew what year it was and who the president was" she came home defencive and nervous. Her red flags went right up and she knew exactly what he was doing. Everyone likes different things, but that was actually one of the better things that I've eaten since I got here. Those enchiladas were probably the worst. I don't know what they did to them, but I wasn't even going to attempt that mess. Nice bake chicken and rice with green beans for lunch today. No choices today so it's always a surprise when you lift that little lid.

So true! Tonight we had a scoop of mashed potatoes with maybe two scoops of vegetables and ground beef mixed together. They also gave us a cookie. This is the easiest diet that I've ever been on. There's no food involved.

Hey buddy. Honestly, I've seen more deer at goose Island then I have the wildlife for refuge. If you do go, it's pretty awesome but I recommend going at Dawn or Sunset. That's when all the animals are moving around. Really good amount of gators there as well as Birds, hugs, Havelina and other animals. Taking the back loop at Sunset is a pretty cool experience to see wildlife.
