Fascinating! I’ve often prepped food in advance but I’ve never thought to PARTIALLY prep it in advance. I really really like this idea! I could do one or two days a month and prep a ton of stuff and freeze it and all that would have to be done is cook it. This would take a lot of time out of the prepping-in-advance stage and also take a lot of time out of the cooking last minute stage, spreading the work load out. I like! Thanks for changing my world, haha. This might just be the thing I needed to be able to streamline cooking from scratch!!

I found this to be very interesting. I wish I could afford to have that much food on hand to make all of these wonderful dishes. I'm a widow in my seventies and I find it somewhat difficult to plan that far ahead. Frankly there are days when I don't even know what I'm hungry for. I admire how organized you are and how you devote a whole day to prep cooking. You remind me of Lisa of Farm House on Boone. You girls wouldn't be sisters by any chance? I absolutely love her and look forward to her videos! Thank you for sharing this with us and blessings for a grace filled new year. 🙏

It’s hard to come up with a months money but when u can it’s a huge help My one friend did it for her 8 kids by using tax refund money 1st month, then saved up for next months. We would go help her cook and run herd on kids as it’s very kitchen intensive. Having kids go to gma for the day helps alot or having daddy take them for day is nice too.

Thanks for sharing these recipes. By using different meats, they are very versatile and will fit the preferences of pretty much every family. I was wondering if you ever take a day before these marathon meal preps to chop bunches of peppers, celery, onions, carrots, etc. so you don’t have to chop for each recipe? I realize you don’t know exactly how much you will need, but any extra can also be frozen for later use.
