The BNSF app has maps of the main rail yards. If they don't run you that last day it's due to low freight.

8:32 I had that same problem too the day before you go home tell them you want to run a shorter run to Indy or MI . So you can get that extra load in before you take home load. It’s sound like you taking your home load Wednesday. Any load you pick up outside of IL you taking to the rail and any load you pick up from rail you taking out of Chicago

I just started jb hunt intermodal in November. I’m in chicago but my trainer from Kentucky n I seen how he get his loads set up however he want. U literally gotta request it from them & build a relationship with the teams that’s book our loads. if u want to run that Thursday have them keep u in Indiana or do a cold water run in Michigan on Wednesday so that way Thursday morning you can pick up from the rails & just drop off on your way home.

If you know the customers in the state you live are the city that you live just do empty moves to customers that load them and you’ll get the miles in an empty move pay

There’s two jb hunt accounts in Cincinnati regional one is 5 days on 2 days off pays 76k gross and other 6 days 1 day off pays 95k gross so how would much you think I’ll make on both realistically?

It’s really hard to say because it goes off how you run because that’s how you paid by the miles. If you getting miles, you should be good but if not pay check gone be mild.

Nah, it’s bad. You can’t lie and say it not. All of the Amazon drivers never back their trailers in correctly & the yard rats don’t give you space to back up. Oh, sometimes you can’t drop loads off at a certain time. CSX is the worst rail in Chicago
