I’m considering wether to get the Alpha elites with AG studs as I want to try conical studs and see how they go as I train on 3G in winter and play for school on ag but my team is on a FG pitch and I have heard they are still fine on that. However I do play on FG for 80% of the time but like the concept of conical studs, or the Neo 4 beta, or Morelia 2s as I am a winger and like speed but I also like a bit of padding when I kick the ball it makes me feel like I can get more power on it before the sting. And I had speed portals which I liked but they ripped and got mercurials Vapor (Sky blue and purple) and like them more than the speedportals so idk which boot to get as I want to try Mizunos but I may have to get 1 pair of all 3 then try them to see which ones I want. (Btw all of these are in the ELITE model)

I reckon the FG will be fine mate, but that only helps you if you actually fit in the boots to begin with!

@@flakers1337 Correct. But I do think the collar will help a lot with the pellets. I usually wear the Rebula Cup on AG, and after every game I have to take out the insoles and empty out some black rubber pieces. Not a huge deal, but worth considering.

Hi Noah, love your reviews and insight. I have a daughter playing in Australia more an more on ag as you may be aware being in Oz your self. The selection is small here and she has a narrow foot. What would you recommend going with a mizuno or a mercurial option? Durability and budget for a growing lady.

For sure! Definitely a shame given how good the FG pitches are here… honestly I’d probably go with an Asics boot - maybe a swift strike? The vapor is great, but make sure to get the AG model if you do! Anything Mizuno is top tier as well, and easily the best durability

Hi Noah, I really appreciate the review, thank you! I am planning to get Phantom Luna 2 Custom too but I am not yet quite sure about which size I should go so I don’t need to return/exchange later. I usually wear Merc Superfly 9 sized 47 EU. And I have seen conflicting reviews about the fit, specifically length-wise that Phantoms are a bit longer than Mercs. I wanted to ask if it is safe to go TTS or get 46 instead.

@@NoahCavanaugh yeah, for some reason I’m really tempted in the mad brilliance colorway but the ag pro goes for 270 usd in my size and that’s a tuff trigger to pull compared to the 239 on the fg model, or even 215 on the barna pack. However, the mad ambition pack you reviewed (the teal/blue colorway) is only 211 in ag! however i really want that bright pink, i feel like it stands out.. sorry about these long comments that you have to read btw, love your content man❤️❤️
