You guys weren't lying it was great! 2) I love how everyone all reacts to the alcohol and then Tatiana is over there like not affected at all lol 3) speaking of Tatiana YES MARY KATE WILES you kill that accent it's so good that's one of my favorite parts is her Russian accent and it also confirms I am VERY GAY. 4) idk who was on drums but they were awesome during the song!! Yessss, this is so good! I kinda see that Barb probably doesn't drink much, so she gets drunk very quick. Same with Informant. Whereas Tatiana seems hard-core and wouldn't act too different when she's had a lot to drink. Curt was an alcoholic but then was off it, so he would have gotten drunk quicker.

The problem for him wasn't exactly the drinking, that was like a side effect of him loosing Owen. Owen was (probably) the only person who new he was gay and accepted him. Loosing someone like that makes one feel isolated (whether one is in a relationship with that person or not); like no-one was going to ever accept them again. Especially in that era. Curt (possibly) assumed that his drinking was a causation, because he had been like that for so long. yep my interpretation of this is that at the beginning curt was using alcohol in a destructive way that was tied to his grief/loneliness. he quits it so that he can begin to function like a human being again. and now here he is drinking with friends in a night of frivolous camaraderie and togetherness. he's redefining what the alcohol means to him as a way to move on from his past
