@@shady9656 Absolutely 100% correct!! Singer, along with KZbin, have basically destroyed not only Porsche enthusiasm but all car enthusiasm. I was at a cars and coffee where a guy brought one in a trailer! He was talking about he has the Patent on the colour and will sue anyone whom has it. I said the frequency of light that isn't absorbed by the paint can change without the eye picking it up so it is kind of useless. He, and everyone else around got mad at me. Nice. I suspect this is the reason why Singer makes people film the production in black and white.🙄

Singer makes what you could describe is a condenced essence of classic aircooled 911, wrapped in an easily consumable package, and that's great. I love that they went further and explored 930 Carrera Turbo, not just classic Carrera, it looks stunning. Their other experiments are very interesting too, the DLS Williams engine is just perfect. But it makes me wonder what else do they have on a plate for the future. Surely their cars are based on a 964 but would they do a love song for a 964 too? Maybe some other classic Porsche models with a unique Singer touch, like 928 or 924-968? Obviously with their boutique pricing and waiting list they're pretty packed for a forseeable future with what they have in their roster atm, but there's no limit to creativity and you can't make too many of the same art piece anyway, that would be wasteful

What I love about Singer is the doors it opens. You don’t need the absolute best starting point for max speed. They’re not insane tuner cars. They’re what you might call Idealized Stock. And the Singer treatment could go with any car. Imagine a Singer Miata. A Singer S2000. A Singer Corvette. Not chasing 1,000 horsepower or track records. Just imagining what should have been. A C4 or C5 Corvette given the Singer treatment. Just imagine how glorious that would be.

All this idiotic bombast hooray blah blah from some wannabe car journalists about "Singer" vehicles is annoying me. It's boring, because we're still talking about sportscars, which were built with the heart and soul of PORSCHE almost 60 - 27 years ago. These original cars are the stars, not these idiotic "Singer" versions for some mega bored billionaires, who are just looking for an iconic sportscar, which is even more exclusive than modern super cars. What's also totally disgusting from "Singer": "Singer" isn't even a real brand name with a legacy, because they have stolen the name from Norbert Singer, without even asking him!! WTF??!!! PORSCHE these days is totally annoyed by Singers "business case" for a reason! With more than 300 customers in the following years, these wannabe "930 Turbos" are a huge business case for Singer... This is a lot of money, even for PORSCHE! Therefore PORSCHE just can't all this be unanswered! It's disgusting, that "Singer" is using all of PORSCHEs fame, even their racing fame and achievements with the aircooled 911 versions from 60 to 27 years ago! Singer should finally be sued from Porsche for using the brand name "PORSCHE" as a business case. "Singers" are restored vehicles, once engineered and produced by PORSCHE. There are absolutely NO technical achievements from "Singer" to justifying these sportscars with "911 re-imagined", because all of the ideas even in these restored vehicles are clearly from PORSCHE. 1.1 million Dollars just for Singers restoring "works" on a Porsche 964, without the costs for the "donor car", is totally disgusting! These guys from "Singer" are raping PORSCHE with a business case, which make them very rich. That's all! Singer is a NOTHING!

Scale cost savings only really apply when you have at least semi-automated assembly lines and tooling.
