even though banks is a mixtape rapper, he is one of the few lyrical rappers left believe it or not. malice, pusha t, joe budden, hov, andre 3000, eminem, j cole, talib kwei,, mos def, kanye west (college dropout) n lloyd banks are all great to me

exactly, you hit the nai on the head. you see how jay z doesnt hype up j cole but he does drake. j cole is creating his own buzz n it will only continue to grow...... expecially around this time

to all the sigel fans who say jay do everybody dirty need to peep this shit here. this is what a hov co sign does for a new artist. instant access to all the big name producers and having your name spread like wildfire throughout the industry. don't sleep on that shit starving artists would kill for that look

lol i found that ironic though. hov knew exactly what he was doing. he put drake n cudi on the hooks but gave j cole a verse. he doesnt hype up j cole like wayne hypes drake. drake is nice n all but he hasnt even released an album yet but is a huge fuckin superstar. n for that reason people expect everything he does to be great so if or when he drops the ball the whole word will see it. n thats not good at all. the route j cole is taking is perfect for a prolonging career

@ slickwatts100.. Yeah,But...Rececently they asked Jay-z, Who was the new up in comers that was gone take over & he replyed LUPE,& Drake...he didnt even mention his own artist...which in my oppinion is way more talented than drake..I mean Ive heard Hov mention J.Cole once in an overseas interview, when they told him how they liked j.cole's music..then hov spoke on him..so..but yeah adleast he gave him a shot..
