This was super fun to watch wandering around the bar area. I really liked the photos today. I vibe videos of casual snaps. I like the vibrant contrast look usually, but I really like what Alex was doing. It looks like a lot more post work than I would ever want to do for snaps, but it was very snazzy. He captured a really complimentary aesthetic for casual hangout photography. They looked like memories more than photos. I don't usually pause the videos, skip back, and rewatch, but I did with this one.

Ugh, Alex’s comments made me realize I spent too much of the pandemic playing video games. In fact, I recognized your shots of “the most touristy place in Osaka” because they showed up in the Yakuza series…which I played through all 8 in the past year. Womp womp. Oh well. Digital tourism is better than no tourism, I guess.

I take sheer pleasure in watching this video despite seeming like a parody of a Leica ad gone wrong. Alex isn't taking better pictures either conceptually or creatively since using a Leica. Perhaps the enjoyment of using a luxury piece of photography gear supersedes that for now. Samuel, Lukasz brought a sense of sheer energy which pervaded the whole video when you guys met each other. I hope he appears on your channel again. Stay safe and good light to you.

6:19 couldn't see any vignetting (falloff) even at f2 shot with your Ultron 35mm f2. Are you using some lens profile , or some post process like vignetting correction ?

Thanks for another fun video! I have a same "night photo issue" with my Leica M Typ 240 since the same sensor as your 262... It is pretty much subjective, but image quality would be not-acceptable at ISO1600 or higher on my 240. It is interesting to know M10 works fine at night time. How high can ISO go up on M10? Again, thanks for another fun video. Keep it up!!
@SamuelStreetlife3 жыл бұрын
I saw Alex's Raw files and it was still very clean at 6400 ISO. There was noise but no banding and much smoother than my 262. It felt almost like a 3 stops difference. Unfair... :D
