I checked out the online demo and preordered the game. It reminds me a lot of "Krosmaster Arena" one of my favourit games of all time, but without having to buy boosters or spending half an hour setting up a game

The master set comes with a proper board but in the original edition the little two faction packs came with paper so I'm not sure if that'll be the case for 2e as well!

I'm afraid not! But there's likely plans to release a revamped version. The Cave goblins in this base set have lots of familiar faces but with reworked mechanics

Use Rubber Bands! I use rubber bands to keep my cards from getting messy in the box all the time
