No it doesn't ? 2018 MacBook Air for 1149 retail amazon way cheaper, do u just watch random why is pc better videos and talk without thinking? unless its 2021 and 3 years passed ? 1349 for a hp ? windows laptop. lets see , you have to pay Microsoft office, and every other thing a person can use. MacBook Air 2018 - for 1149. comes with pages, numbers, Keynote, iMovie , garageband, Classroom, iBooks Author, Notes FaceTime, iMessage, Fingerprint ID with Apple Pay, Reminders, Continuity oh my god its not even a competition for students. Out of the box windows has.... notepad. windows movie maker 😂😂 bruh. Ive used windows 98, me, 2000, xp, vista sp1 sp2 sp3, windows 7, windows 8 windows 8,1 windows 10. still do. pc is awesome if you want power. but saying this hp is better than a MacBook for a student for 1349 its rubbish. and a rip off. also apple has student discounts. on top of all that? I don't get you . or maybe your 12 and your favourite KZbin said PC is better in which case 🤦♂️

Please Please Please - before you waste your money on an HP Spectre - google "HP Specter x360 screen flickering" not only does this laptop battery life suck - there are days when it takes hours to get the screen to stop flicking so that you can even see the screen. Forget about the fix of starting in safe mode because once your screen start flicking, bleeding and tearing - you can not see or read anything when you restart. Then once the screen is clear - your too scared to restart because you don't know if it will start flicking again. I've been using the HP Specter x360 for about 2 month... But it's a slightly different from yours because mine doesn't have a sim card tray... Probably because different regions... Additional cons and pro of the laptop... Cons 1)it's still a laptop not a tablet replacement... Too heavy to be use in the table form for a long session. 2)Glitchy Windows if you regularly switch between tablet mode and regular windows mode. 3)The synaptic driver is very Glitchy as well. I've experienced multi touch failure a number of times. You can fix it with just restarting the laptop but it does happen. 4)The price(well it's kinda a pro as well) (i) there's a lot of more budget friendly laptop out there with better performance vs price... My late 2017 Omen cost less but way more powerful than the Spectre. (ii)There's a lot of tablet that cost way way less. 5)Dongle City. With 1 usb A and 2 usb C thunder bolt 3. It's self explanatory. 6)Bad Power Brick design function. Although it look cool but the power brick need to be fully untangle if you want to charge up the laptop. If you do not do that the power brick will heat up very quickly. It'll heat up when you do untangle it but not as fast. Pros 1)ultra portability.(I can write an essay on this topic alone but it's self explanatory) 2)above average battery life compared to most laptops in general. With a caveat though. Hooking up power hungry devices like a WD 4TB External Hard disk will drain the battery quick. But that is suppose to happen. 3)The price compared to other 2 in 1 laptop... Slightly cost lesser with the same spec. 4) Design. The poseidon blue is beautiful. The diamond cut is to die for. 5)Keyboard. Why is this important? It's a LAPTOP. If I don't care about typing I already bought the ipad Pro. 6) Thunderbolt 3... It open up options To summarise. The real reason why I bought the spectre was because of:- Portability, Future proffing and 2 in 1 capability. So why not go with the surface pro 6? Simple. No Thunderbolt 3. I'm a casual gamer and with the specter I have the option of external graphics card which I do believe is the future. I can do the work and game in the same small footprint laptop with just adding a few devices instead of relying on a big and bulky gaming laptop.

Hi Sarah! Love your videos! Just a note tho for the ppl who come by the comments - in my personal experience with 2-in-1 laptops w/ 360 degree hinges: *DO NOT* buy them! Especially if you want longevity in your purchase bc after a year or so they WILL break from the stresses of opening and closing and going full 360 (not a might break, they 98% will). AND often your warranty won't cover it, or repair will insist that you broke it and you have to pay for the fixes.

@@phproud3541 Just like me. I am content creator. I use After effect and premiere pro. Ok this is my honest experience. I got Blade RTX 2060 with 9th Gen core i7. When I got the laptop, I had a lot of issues such as arrow freezing when you "right click" on the home. Whenever I open adobe apps, the fans make loud noise even with no rendering whatsover. The folders sometimes won't open. I contacted the customer service which went very well. I filmed everything and showed them what was going on. They asked to "factor reset" the laptop. I followed all the instruction. The result was good! The laptop now is faster! I rendered 15 minute full HD vlog which took just 3-5 minute! The fans no longer make loud noise. This is my advice. Go for blade if you want that fast rendering! However, make sure to "factor reset" if you encounter any issue at the beginning. It will save you time and headache!

well since you asked : I am looking for a powerful and slim work machine, and I dont care about gpu since I have a 2080ti in my gaming desktop. I feel in love with xps 15 and then I discovered it has severe thermal issues, x1 extreme also has some thermal issues and its ugly so wht would u recommend? Thanks

YES. THIS IS AN AMAZING LAPTOP. I WOULD'VE BOUGHT THIS IF THIS NEW ONE WOULD'VE BEEN AVAILABLE BACK IN SEPTEMBER.

So I’m a student and also a filmmaker. Invested in an iMac for my heavy duty editing and use fcpx. I’ve realised I also need a laptop, not for editing necessarily but admin, data management and backups on the go (I travel a lot..). I don’t want to get a MacBook. I have had the new ones and sold them and the 2015 ones don’t handle 10 bit 4K well which is what normally I work with so I’ve consigned editing purely to my desktop. I don’t wanna spend more than £750 and I want something light, preferably 13/14 inch with a good display, that will handle data and media management, maybe watching back raw video and also maybe a bit of photoshop and lightroom (not masses) and with enough jacks to connect and SD card and a couple of hard drives. Totally okay to buy second hand, any suggestions?! Most of my hunting has pointed me to the XPS13.
