Sara, I have been using this laptop for the past two weeks and I am impressed by what it can do for the form factor. My office computer has a dual 24 core xenon with 256 gigs of ram (yes ram). So the type of work I do is computationally demanding. All I'm saying is that I have put this little machine through its paces and it's a workhorse.

Sara a salesperson I use to work with some time ago stated "A clean workspace is a sign of a cluttered mind". Also "If I am not in trouble is must not be doing anything". Thanks again for a wonderful review. Unix person however for a laptop to run Windows I think this would be one of the top contenders for a 2-in-1.

Its interesting to see the Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 from a content creator angle. I consider the XPS 2 in 1 near perfect in form factor, versatility, weight and performance. I consider it a viable alternative to the surface line, especially if you need Thunderbolt capability. I've gotten so used to the near 4K screen on the Surface Book 1, that I may need the 4K version on the Dell should I upgrade to to the XPS.

Ohhhh, pressure sensitive pen support? That looks really nice then. I don't want to consider something without the pressure sensitive pen thing these days. That feature looks too nice to not have it (photo editing and drawing, etc).

Full screen brightness! But the power setting was consistently one notch below full power. And then full power when editing the last couple hours!

Great review! Can you review the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme when the OLED option comes out? I'd love a comparison between it and the XPS 15 7590. I'd also love a comparison between the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1, the HP Spectre x360 13, the Lenovo Yoga C940 14, and the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga 4th gen. I also think it'd be cool to compare the current 2019 HP Spectre x360 15 with the Lenovo Yoga C940 15 because they're both 2-in-1's with H-series processors. I'm a writer and content creator, so I need a laptop with a comfortable keyboard. I might wait this year for the new Dell XPS 15, the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Extreme OLED, and when Apple releases a MacBook Pro with WiFi 6. I'm also considering getting an ultrabook to work on my book with a 10th gen ultrabook processor for light video editing and working on my novel. Then, I'd get a desktop computer for the bulk of my video editing and gaming, like a custom PC or an iMac. I really like the HP Spectre x360 13, the Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 13.5" with the Alcantara keyboard, and the Dell XPS 13 or Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga with 10th gen processors. I'm also looking forward to what updates Apple will make to the 13" MacBook Pro - hopefully add the new keyboard & 10th gen processors. Sarah, I'd love your thoughts. I'm looking forward to more laptop reviews in the future. How do you like your new iMac? Have you missed AirDrop?

Great review. I actually bought my machine after watching this last year. I love your channel. I'm curious... have you ever connected an external GPU to your XPS 13 via the thunderbolt port? I'm pretty sure I am going to add one for editing in Davinci Resolve. I have over 2 hours on a 1080 timeline for a film I'm working on, and about to get to color grading, and although my laptop has been flawless thus far just with the internal iris graphics, (believe it or not, it's been solid as a Rock), but I know it's gonna struggle with those node trees that are coming. :) I am using a deck link in an enclosure on one thunderbolt port for my external monitor, I'm thinking of getting a separate breakout box for the other thunderbolt on the other side of the XPS, and putting the eGPU there, but keeping my external monitor hooked up to the decklink so I can trust what I'm seeing while I edit. So two separate breakout boxes... one on each thunderbolt port. Does this all sound crazy to you??? Trying to get the most out of this laptop so I don't have to break down and buy a whole new machine..... Thanks!!

Its comet lakes new igpu intel iris plus graphics and the tech chap did test it with that processor but on the lenovo c940, it did well on light 4k video editing
