To recreate the past in any scale is a most noble endeavor. This is hyper-realism. Thank you. Never stop modelling. Lol.

There are several ideas for diy railroad layout construction Find a proven set of plans online Find a colleague who wants to build one too so you have someone to help you (I learned these and the reasons they work from Jareks hobby club site )

Fantastic layout and excellent camera work. One suggestion: try adding a directional light with a gel to give a late afternoon or early morning feel, rather than high noon. That should give you some gorgeous shadows and glints on the metalwork- especially effective on low-angle shots.

I saw that in other vids too,, as well as hitting some highlight spots with a strobe or hit output light,, the strobe made the area look like it was on fire, and the high output set off the waterfall splendidly,,, good call,, !!!

Great work for both the detailed layout and camera . Only one slight item . It would be nice if you included the Name Brand of the sound system you used .

@@Tracksidemodelrailroading No problem at all I'm searching for any and all ideas I'm trying to work on two different scales at the time Ho / ho n 3 indoors and 1:20.3 outdoors with the staging area in with the Ho / ho n 3 duel gauges . That is once I get the roof replaced on my workshop . For my bigger Shay and Climax I've gone with Phoenix sound systems . I've been thinking about putting in some smaller speakers for a little boost . And for the Ho layout I've got Shays , Climaxes , Hyslers (sp) and on the Main line . I have an assortment of diesels from A - 7's down to small switchers . And don't get me started on the buildings both In and Out will also have sound .

This is the fifth with best claims, and I have to say,, you have done very well,, ,, As I stated in another,, animals,, PLEASE put in some sheep, wolves, bear, moose, deer, mini animals,,, maybe a duck or goose,, (one had swans),, and buffalo and cattle,, ,,, I will point out one detail MANY people leave out,, buy some chain!! Hauling anything oversize on a train,, it is chained down, ,, Your car, (looks brand new),, the big oil or boiler tank,, nothing holding them down,,, only cost about 1$,, I did see one ""tree"",, that I would remove, does not fit,,, good water,, good sky,,, love the trestles,,, else,, another superb set up!!
