Great start to the series of daily vlogs. Drove HWY 1 couple of years ago from Carmel down to Cambria and thought a lot about riding this road on my bike... Maybe one day. I noticed by the way you don't wear your Whoop anymore. You were such a big fan of it. Any particular reason for that? Asking because I'm thinking about getting a whoop myself. Thanks and looking forward to your next videos!
@TheVCAdventures11 ай бұрын
I wore whoop for 5 years, Ioved it, it’s a great tool. But I gained all I could from the data it gave me, I found myself only wanting to see calories in/calories out. Whoop doesn’t connect to anything like Strava or training peaks or the macros app I use. The Apple Watch does, plus tracks my runs and swims and gym workouts and uploads them to training peaks. So it’s more about what you want to gain from the tool, Whoop is phenomenal and more accurate than the Apple Watch, but the watch gives me the data I’m after at the moment.

Lot of people are like "just eat what your body wants and ride however much you want and your body will find its ideal weight 😊😊" and I'm like bro if I just ate whatever I wanted I would be 4,000 lbs even if I rode every day. I'm currently trying to get to a lower % body fat so I can look better naked, so that requires eating at a deficit. I heard you say you were in a 8,000+ cal deficit for the week... why are you cutting? Trying to look better? Better performance? I ask myself the same questions a lot so was curious on your take

After worlds I went into 10k surplus a week for 2 weeks. Felt like if I didn’t correct that path I was gonna be 200lb + by Christmas.
