There are very few rivers in the world where you could truly never get bored of and that is the Stikine. Although this was only my 2nd trip I have a feeling I am going to be doing whatever I can to get as many seasons up there as possible. It's truly one of the prettiest gorges, combined with some of the best whitewater in the world. I was so stoked everything lined up to be able to rally up, and that first lap back always hits different!

hahah classic tire problems ! they sell all the 1500's (gmc ,dodge , ford ) with P rated / 4 ply tires and at a minimum should have C rated or ideally E (10 ply ) for off road use . was Blake Miller the only kayaker to know how to change a tire on a truck ?

Amazing river. Great run. Thanks for sharing Dane. What am I missing about the big hole on Site Z? Looks like it can be missed on the LHS. I assume the lead in is tough to stay left?

There is a gnarly pile of rocks on the left side of the hole that wouldn't be fun to go over. It's a long rapid with some bigger features leading into it that would make it hard to stay left anyways.

Tad Dennis did it back in 2017, he even did site zed in both K1 and C1 in the same season.

Everyone has their own crews. Even though it’s far north and remote, the logistics are pretty straightforward in terms of the put in, take out etc. but it also helps if anyone in your group has done it before
