Lata did act for a very very small amount of time as a child actor in the 1940s. She absolutely hated acting though. Luckily for her, it was around this time that the film industry decided to split acting and singing, and hire professional singers to do the voice overs for actors in songs. So when Lata got the chance to just sing for the actresses, she never looked back And she became even more famous than any of the actresses she sang for. Shes possibly the most important and influential person in the entire development of indian cinema, thats how big her contribution of just her voice was to movies.

This is the first time I ever saw your channel. Anyway one question to ask yourself sir is how many years prior was she singing before your birth maybe 4-5 decades 😁. Also I would like to point out that there is not much change in her voice other than it maturing. I call her Maa Saraswati.
