I have a 2021 Sportage EX AWD and I'm in OHIO we got bad snow overnightand this little truck is amazing! I definitely say this is probably the most capable Kia for winter conditions. My sister used to have a 2015 2.0T SXL trim AWD she said never got stuck once with it. Yet hers was the older style

Need more ground clearance. Does the awd shut off after 25 mph ?

I find the ground clearance is not bad. We had some 3 feet of snow in Hamilton Ontario in January and it went through it like a hot knife through better. The AWD only kicks on if the computer senses slip but there is an AWD lock button but it should be turned off after going past 40 km/hr

Just bought one today. 15 thousand miles 2019 LX 21995 . Absolutely love this car and shocked how well it drove and cabin noise was very quiet on highway. I wanted good suv awd for upcoming winter here in NY. Got a good deal on that car. Very very happy!!!!
