But I guess you are mainly talking about the Quest version, right? Because some of the improvements, like that big beast was already in the Steam version. I'm looking forward to play it again. You’re incorrect. The release of 1.0 is where the code spaghettified and the npcs devolved from u12 and u11. They made an update for 1.04 which fixed this issue

I got a quest 3 and I can tell you their textures have not improved very much at all. They did add more graphics, but the resolution doesn't seem to be that much better. When playing it on a quest 3 You would expect it to be much smoother, that's not the case. It's mind boggling that this game works better on my quest 2 then it does on my quest 3. Maybe that's the reason there is no quest 3 update. It makes sense if you think about it because the quest 3 has to Screens and the quest 2 has 1 screen. That means it's more taxing on the quest 3.

A cautionary tale for current and prospective Meta Quest VR headset owners: I'm now on day 30 of Meta holding my Quest headsets hostage. I've been using Oculus/Quest devices from the day they started making them (10 years ago?), and I have not been required to give my date of birth to Meta in all this time. But they recently demanded my DOB under threat of disabling my Quests, and they made good on that threat 30 days ago. Meta can metaphorically brick your headsets, any time they want, and for any reason they want, and you will have no defense against it. Conclusion: Think carefully before you BUY anything from Meta; The thing you BUY will not be yours.

When you buy a device that requires an OS and it's connected to the internet, obviously you must follow the company's rules if you want to keep using the device. Same goes for Playstation, you buy the hardware, but you can also get banned on the console, not just the account! They gave plenty of warnings about the date of birth, that they would introduce that to avoid minors to use them without parental authorization. Besides, whether you're underage or not, nothing stops you from lying about your date of birth, that's what most people do if they're underage. My conclusion to this is that 1, this happens everywhere, not just Meta and 2, it's not a big deal to put your date of birth anywhere because it can be easily manipulated and no one will track you down with that information. I hope I was able to help.

I mean... you agreed to that. Just because they never asked for proof that you met the age requirement before doesn't mean they can't request proof later. Why would they just take the source: "trust me bro" at face value all the time? You likely got reported as younger(which is annoying) or did something that made them think you were young so they figured they'd actually check. This isn't rare.

@@coltynstone-lamontagne If I'm not wrong, they actually said they would block Quests that wouldn't give the DOB until the date they mentioned. That's why their Quest got blocked afterwards. Maybe one day they'll actually ask for a proof like an ID card or something, but for now it would be easy to just set a random DOB or simply be honest and type your DOB if you're 18+. As I said before, no one will track you down with a birth date.

Back when it was first made the first GTA was considered psychopath simulator then everyone got used to it and nobody complains anymore this is simply the next step and the same thing will happen give it like 30 years and people will be wanting it to be MORE GRAPHIC
