I have a cool idea for a Sonic mod: light speed dash meter Sonic will have a meter above his battle ui, which indicates his light speed dash. He can fill it up by either attacking, getting attacked, or holding the special button during side b. The more the meter is filled, the more distance Sonic will cover.

I’m wondering if Sonic is too fast here, or if he only seems too fast, because this looks like it could be annoying to fight. He has the speed to instantly get you off stage with one move, that spin kick, which just caries you off with his speed. You’re always off stage. He already has a high speed burst option that he can use, so that much ground movement is probably just a teensy bit overkill. Not saying to tone it back a bunch, but just a bit. That up throw also has way too much movement for a throw for more than a 1v1 setting, which is not all the game is designed for. That also makes it hard to tell what is going on. They should probably streamline that a teensy bit. These are just my thoughts though. I’d like to hear opposing opinions.

He is very fast, but he's also very hard to get the hang of since he's so unwieldy in this mod. I didn't make this so if you want you could go to SoniDelta's channel and let him know and he could possibly put those into a future update.

​@@smashbronikkoon my end, side b only made him even easier to control. Heck, Sonic in vanilla is only hard to control when you explore his Spin Dash movement. Even better for him, Spin Dash is way floatier here. The only thing harder for him that I tested woth both versions is: Modern: Less NAir reach, single hit USmash, DAir still being inconsistent but is more realiable as a KO tool than vanilla. Battle: Single hit USmash, limited range for DAir but doesn't force Sonic downwards.

Yeah, that's based on Sonic Rush. There's an alternate one where it looks less jittery, but he has a completely different pose.

I really love this mod but the Sonic’s physics look like how they were in brawl, the attacks look sped up, don’t have as much knock back, and they use the sound effect from brawl such as the smash attack charge up and the attack sound effects. Though, I don’t know if that’s from the mod or not. Also they butchered back air

Yeah, I agree. For the brawl sounds, I just have a brawl themed sound pack so all the hit sounds are from there. And this is the older version of it. There's a new version out that I haven't been able to try out yet.

He looks a bit too lightweight. That's done to try to make him balanced, but it looks a little crazy here. He'd be too easily beaten by the hardest hitting characters. He can rack up damage quickly, but some moves seem like they do too little damage as well.

How do you add custom move sets?

@AndresJimenez-bp4hc It's really simple, just extract the moveset folder into the correct mod folder. There's plenty of guides that will help you step by step for it.
