Andrea, I’m so glad only minor damage! What a summer of storms you are having. Too intense…I’m so glad you have power. That flower is INTENSE! I’ve never ever seen a bloom that large! I dint think the saguaro are even that big! What a dream to have that so close to witness it like that. Wow. I’m so glad to have you as an internet friend and see your beautiful treasures 🤗🤗🤗☺️

The moth visitor really made my week! The flower was amazing like unbelievably gorgeous and the fragrance too 🙌🏽 I was thinking you would like this video but even better if you could have been here to see it for yourself in person and smelled it! I hope you get to someday!

So beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I haven't read all the comments but im sure someone also was curious as me about the moth and I read they pollinate the flower Pretty awesome

Nocturnal pollinators usually go unseen! Oddly I've noticed a LOT of various 'night moths' around certain plants in the evening lately. Like more than ever - it's really neat!

I'm in total awe! A gift of nature! It's such a huge and beautiful bloom.. maybe one day mine will flower and we can compare our descriptions of the scent, Andrea.. 😁👏 Those moths at the end were having a party! 🥳💚 LOVED, LOVED THIS VID!

I was thinking of you and hoping you saw the video soon! It was a wonderful gift. After such bad week. We had a hurricane come through Monday morning, and we are lucky to have power, just no internet, but some damage to the house, but nothing terrible. This is all the excitement I need in my life 😂 When that flower buzzed at me I thought I was dreaming for something. It was so crazy! I hope yours flowers soon! Maybe show it this video? 😬❤️

@@SucsForYou Oh no, you had a hurricane! I'm so sorry but I am relieved to know there was no serious damage, though it must have been awful for you! We're in the middle of a terrible heatwave here in Italy.. 🥵🔥 I know even the cacti are suffering.. and we've been getting less flowers so maybe they're going dormant.. 🤷🏻♀️ It's not even 4am here but I'm waiting for the sun to rise so I can get some work done in the garden.. it's the only cool time of day! By 8am it's killing!! I can't get over that gorgeous dragon fruit flower.. My plant started life as part of a "moon" cactus.. I know a lot of people like grafted plants.. *I DO NOT!!* 🤭 It was a kind gift from a pal who thought how pretty it was.. The mutant was removed and the dragon fruit breathed new life, 😆 had it's ups and downs for a couple of years, but five years down the line it's doing well! I would be so happy to get a bloom like this one.. and to have that extra buzzzzz of the moths! I'm sooooo glad you stayed up and took the time to capture these absolute miracles of nature working together.. It's an inspiration.. I will be watching many times and I'll definitely show my plant this vid! 😅🤗🌵💚

I hope you catch a break from the heat! I'm not a big grafted fan either but I do get why people do it sometimes. Flowers come faster so seeds come faster if you need them to. I should chop the moon off my dragon as it's not in good condition. The dragon has already decided it's going to start growing with or without the moon 😁

@@SucsForYou Oh I agree, Andrea.. there are good reasons for grafting, but I personally don't like the look of these "Frankenstein" plants.. 🤭 I am so enjoying all the short vids you've been uploading lately.. you're enthusiasm shines and you have some gorgeous plants! 🤗
