When I say my jaw DROPPED- That’s one of the most shocking and insane voices I’ve ever heard. Genuinely.

The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie is an absolutely amazing piece of music and arranging from this same session. One of the best in my opinion.

I love how his story telling is so incredibly vivid with so few words. He’s one of my favorite artists right now.

The song's a m*rder ballad, a story archetype that travelled from the British Isles to Appalachia over several centuries. Good stuff. And yes, looking at Colton's "visuals," you wouldnt expect the voice of a weathered old dude who's seen some stuff, done some stuff, lived off rotgut whisky and hand-rolled tobacco and possum jerky. But he grabs you and pulls you into the story. Thanks, Peter.

Colter Wall is here in Phoenix? Have a blast and let us know how it was. Im in the west Valley, in Surprise. This is the best! 🤗

This is actual country. I'm from Georgia lived in the deep south all my life. I hate modern day country i can't stand any of it. That's why i mostly listen to metal. But this is WOW I'm hooked ever since i heard this song.

I think what blew me away the 1st time I heard him, isnt not just the voice itself.. But he's so young! He's from 1995! That'd make him only 22 at this performance.. Madness

He actually hates these recordings because he said he did not know how to sing! I just love him to pieces! Even if he sings differently now! He is awesome! I’m curious as what what you thought of him live? He was only 21 during these recordings.

After your Commendatore analysis, I'd love to hear you do more analyses of operatic basses; eg George London, Jerome Hines, others..... "Wotan's Farewell and Magic Fire Music" or the "Te Deum" from Tosca or the death of Boris G. for example.

Have you ever seen Joe Rogan talk about colter. He said something along the lines of he invited him to the podcast multiple times and colter refused cause it was calving season and had ranch work to do

You’ve got to do “The Devil Wears a Suite and Tie” now.

This guy, @PeterBarber, said that Diana Аnkudinova's voice was a result of digital modulation and I've hated him ever since!!!!!!!!! I expect him to say that Dimash's voice is also the result of digital modulation and this will kill me for good!
