My good friend Jimmy Graham took me on for a wild ride. Never thought a plane coud fly upside down and do looping so easily

Seeing a man doing anything after going through that horizontal gap in armco is still amazing.

Glad to see you are enjoying life. You definitely have a passion for flying after racing is over. Keep up the aviation content after the racing career.

I love aerobatic flying. Wife and I own a couple planes, Bonanza A36 for XC flying and an Extra 330L for aerobatics. I love taking people up and showing them the basics and seeing the smile on their stomachs, I mean faces lol

I took flying lessons at a grass field airport just up the road from Sears Point Raceway. We flew Citabrias. My instructor also gave aerobatic lessons. I took six friends there once and he took each one up and did aerobatics with them.

How does this compare to getting into an F1 car for the first time? Same kind of nervousness? Looked like fun, glad to see you trying new things

I was just wondering, how was your hand burnt? From outside, or did hot fuel come inside your glove? Best, D.

How did the g-force sensation compare to a formula car? I imagine it is more full-body?
@simpilot0013 ай бұрын
The real work is staying conscious in high gs, you get more sustained gs in the plane but rapid changes in gd in the car. Also, f1 requires a lot of neck strength to operate

C'est fou de voir à quel point, une petite manipulation sur le manche peut tout à coup rendre le vol très inconfortable. Ça reste dingue la voltige. J'ai adoré mon baptême en Cap10!

+4,5 isn't even that brutal ;) had my fair share of aerobatic glider flights and topped out at +5,8 and -5,4. And man -4,5 was pretty interesting, my eyes where a bit red after that

Oh the negative gs are weird because you wish there a way to drain your face. I don’t like them as much but it’s manageable.

I'm always interested to hear a professional driver's opinion about the difference in how the G feel.

Oh it’s definitely harder in an f1 car with regular gs, no real way to compare with the airplanes negative gs

Can you share details on the airplane you were flying?
