I know for a fact alot of these are hackers, but I always headshot sombras as widow or stick them with an arrow I've played alot of sombra so I actually have hunches that pay off. I wonder if I ever got reported for cheating.

I had a cheating Widow in quickplay last week who just straight up admitted they were cheating when asked. Then went on to say "oh come on it's just quickplay and it's funny". In fairness, they weren't using the cheats to win or dominate but rather to kinda... troll? Like, they were constantly in really weird parts of the map spamming voice lines and would walk around full crouched constantly. They would run in 1v5, get a crazy headshot then do the heroic emote and just let us kill them. At one point they were playing like a dive character where they would sneak around then grapple into a target and hit the aimbot headshot only to use the "im sorry" ping then walk off the map. At one point they popped widow ult then typed "Double walls?". At another point they declared "I'm goin SMG only now" then ran around like a soldier with perfect tracking. Our side won the game though because they trolled so hard. Weirdest cheater ever

Banning someone immediately tells the cheating developers how to better hide it. mass bans are used for the reason of being very difficult to find out how it was detected. I do agree with shadow bans though. Suspected accounts being qued with other suspected accounts would be great. as if everyone is cheating they are more like to just cheat harder.

@@KSword007 They really should have a cheater's queue filled with nothing but toxic people (don't mute them in this queue, let them continue to bury themselves) and cheaters. Longer Queue Times + Only Bad games. It's a better punishment then just banning.

Played a quick play push game the other day with a cheating Cassidy. At first I just thought he was good. I was playing Tracer, and he kept fanning the hammer and instantly killing me. Which is fair, you could breathe on Tracer and she would die. But then I noticed in one kill cam, he was *only* fanning the hammer. He didn't left click once, only right click and kill whatever was in front of him because every shot would connect and be a head shot.

​@@--Cat--the spread of fan the hammer is random, while hackers can have perfect tracking, they can't mod the game to remove spread. It also doesn't matter if it hits the head, each bullet will do max damage as long as it hits within the spread.

I'm not certain this is what they're describing nor that magnetic bullets is a hack that is possible in overwatch. But it definitely does exist and is possible...

Played a qp junkertown once. Some guy from enemy team calls out my teammates mei and sojourn for aim assist. We win the game, and accuser says “Hope you like the replays blizzard” To this day, I can’t tell if that was just lies or just my dumb brain because I was only focused on the game. So when I went to replay, I couldn’t find anything that was proof of aim assist.

Whenever I'm curious if someone is cheating the dead giveaway is their game sense. Standing in the open on main, generally lost, has no idea how to use the hero's abilities, and yet hits every head shot 🤔

Yep! Had a guy who only did headshots on Ashe. Had 8 hours total in Comp, 20 hour total in game. He was ranked as Master but he was standing directly in the open, front lining, spamming cooldowns, missing all his shots on the dynamite, etc. I immediately reported. When they have GM aim but Cardboard game sense, it's a dead giveaway.
