Been in Leadville my 53 years. I've spent time over there but not as much I should have. Now I see this I know why in my 20s we walked up to seven sisters from a different place! Tulare was the best High lake I've ever fished!

Thanks, Jeep was able to order a fuel pump for us and we will hopefully have it soon. I’m amazed we were able to get back down without any major damage.

1st timer to you channel, you did an excellent job teaching/ giving tips. There is really no one out there doing this type of video and I've looked for years. I liked hearing what gear to use going up/down, and whether or not lockers were used- great learning tool:) Hope to find more like this. cheers

Have run this trail 3 times. Ist time in in my old 77 Scout, somewhat modified, 2nd in the same Scout heavily modified and tried Cleveland Rock did not make it. 3rd was in my 95 Tacoma, fairly modified and my take on IFS in big rocks is it's not the same as a solid front axle but did make it without damage. First two times were in the 80's last time was in 05. French Creek is harder when the water is running hard, makes the rocks with wet tire's very slippery. Glad Y'all had fun and enjoyed your video. Now that I am 70 I doubt I will be running this trail again but then again.....

Maybe for you, but the typical person watching the channel is very inexperienced and we get a lot of messages that the videos taught them Howe to use their vehicle

Used to do this trail in my Toyota on 33” 20yrs ago with open diffs and a 5 speed. You learned how to wheel like that. When I got locked, it took waaaay less skill. The Jeeps low 4.0 range t case is more key than anything. Sadly they are junky vehicles and are uncomfortable. But we all love to wheel so I’m not hating, but money add to a rig definitely makes it easier and less stressful! Glad y’all had fun

Are you and your friends running the stock Dana 44s with those 37 to 38 inch tires? What gearing are you running? Cool video, thanks for the wheeling tips on Holly Cross.

One of them is on Curry 60's and 40s. We are on the stock Dana 44s with 38" tires. We have Yukon Chromolly rear axle shafts and RCVs on the front and we are running 5:13 gearing.

What did we destroy or even damage? We were on a designated trail the entire time.
@Nk-bc1qb Жыл бұрын
Sadly a stock beep would get destroyed on this trail. These guys just threw a ton of money at a “ trail ready vehicle” just so they could wheel.
