One of the Most Cryptic Verses in the Gita (18.61) ~ A Comparison of Translations

ईश्वरः सर्वभूतानां हृद्देशेऽर्जुन तिष्ठति।
भ्रामयन्सर्वभूतानि यन्त्रारूढानि मायया।।18.61।।
īśhvaraḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ hṛid-deśhe ‘rjuna tiṣhṭhati |
bhrāmayan sarva-bhūtāni yantrārūḍhāni māyayā ||
īśvaras-Lord, the Lord, the Supreme Lord; sarva-bhūtānām-of all beings, of all creatures; hṛid-heart; deśe-in the region, in the place, in the direction; arjuna-Arjuna; tiṣṭhati-he stands, he abides, he dwells, he exists; bhrāmayan-causing to move, causing to wander, revolve; sarva-bhūtāni-all beings, all creatures; yantra-machine, mechanism; ārūḍhani-fixed to, attached to, mounted on; yantrārūḍhāni-fixed to a mechanism, attached to a machine, mounted on a machine; māyayā-by the power of maya, by the power of illusion, by magic.
The Lord (iśhvara) is situated (tiṣhṭhati) in the heart space (hrid-deśhe)
of all beings (sarva-bhūtānā), Arjuna,
causing all beings to revolve (bhrāmaya sarva-bhūtāni)
by the power of illusion (māyayā),
as if mounted on a machine (yantra-ārūḍhāni).
