I box a box of chronicles when it came out. I was able to cards that I missed from earlier sets. I started playing in beta and missed out on so many cards since the number of printed boxes was so low compared to today.

White borders are more interesting looking than a tiny planeswalker symbol. Wish they would've done this for the list reprints and the mystery boosters. More so than just the occasional card in MB2.

Ah Chronicles. The set that caused so many headaches and over reactions. It lead to the reserve list which may have needed to happen but WOTC reacted in too knee jerk of a reaction and put alot of cards that did not need to be on it. IMO the OG duals should never have been put on the list. That said they were and that is that.

I was really excited about chronicles back in the day. I lived in a small town where the comic shop was only able to get one box of aribian knights, and antiquities, and 2 boxes of legends. They limited it to two packs per customer. They did print chronicles into oblivion though.

My 11 year old Timmy brain in 1997: 6:58 Picking Force of Nature makes it so much better cuz I tottaly would have paid that upkeep cost for three turns aswell.
