Aubrey, it is so exciting to know that there are men like you evolving in our world. I do believe that you represent a 'new' kind of man----the kind of man that has been seeded within us all along, just waiting for this moment to blossom. It gives me such hope! Thank you so much!
@janicestevenson64963 жыл бұрын
Thank you Aubrey for this insightful presentation. In the writings of Marshall Vian Summers, he discusses the need to recognize our programming and to 'unlearn' or 'unburden' from it so that one is free to live in the present and to move forward into the future. 'God's first purpose is to unburden you...Knowledge is not oriented to your past... It only seeks to lead you forward... Your past cannot be a reference for the future because the past is gone, and your memory of the past and your evaluation of the past hardly represents its reality. In fact, in almost all cases, you misinterpreted the past and used it to reinforce existing ideas [beliefs, programming]. With Knowledge, you will be able to see your past in a new way, with greater objectivity and greater clarity. This will give you an evaluative tool and point of view that will enable you to be in the present meaningfully and purposefully in keeping with the Knowledge within you.' (MVS, Greater Community Spirituality)

Yes, this is a great idea choosing books to quote. They inspire a message to discuss and think about. It's amazing how the universe will bring small messages of information to you when you have been thinking about them.

Thank you Aubrey. I have read that little book years ago and fell for the trap of attaching and reattaching myself to million things again and again. Only finding myself in a horror of suffering. 😂🤣 Anthony de MELLO has clarity and simplicity of a sharp sword. This process of emptying ourselves of this velcro ideas sometimes has to be repeated many times before the grace of sight transforms it. It is surely worth it. 🌞

Aubrey, if you read this, take a moment to ponder the permission you're giving people to be radically vulnerable and to express their true selves. Take this in the spirit it is intended, not to feed your ego, but as a gift of awareness (in case you weren't aware) and a show of gratitude. Xx

Thanks for the heads up to this author; just ordered The Way to Love and Awareness by Anthony De Mello. You did a hell of job explaining this passage you chose to read through examples from your real life. How cool is it when we just be? Know for a fact that the from the hip reactions like you mentioned about the tennis return is real. To the point of pausing, even if just internally, and recognizing it for what it was. Whether it's a physical action or verbal response/rebuttal. When those authentic times occur they are indeed magical. Keep on keeping on Thank You Godspeed

Attachments aren't just mental. They are energetic. We are becoming an energetic species. This means that we are connected by invisible strings of connection that need to be lovingly and thoroughly seen and fell over time. Anything else is surface applications. The other side of negative attachments is love. It's more resonating with your higher purpose as the main "Attachment " if you will.

One of my greatest attachment was my passion for psychedelics and medicine plants for healing and spiritual growth. The though of living my life without these tools would be to me unconciviable as these tools were such a huge part and at the core of my identity. But I faced my greatest fear to lose them and it's been the most difficult experience of my life. But now I'm grateful for this and to be able to reconnect to these tools without being so attached to them and believing I need them to be happy!

I’ve been sitting down with your podcasts with a pen and pad in hand now . In my opinion your podcasts are way more intellectually stimulating and thought provoking than Joe Rogan which I do watch from time to time . Please get Russell Brand on your Podcast , Love the Paul Chek interviews . I keep playing them and writing down pages and pages of thoughts . Yassim Harumain ( sic ) is another man that an interview with him and Paul Chek would be another mind blowing interview:)

Strange, I was never brought up the way that book says most people are, I guess. I always knew what true happiness was because of how I was raised; I can’t be alone in this. So while I realize material possessions & jealousy are a problem for many, but it shouldn’t be assumed that’s a problem everyone faces. Because even with this knowledge, happiness is far from guaranteed as there are other factors that make people unhappy aside from anything material. Anyway, great video nonetheless :)

Anthony de Mello = ❤ For anyone who feels drawn to these topics: I would recommend "Awareness" by Anthony de Mello over "The way to love" Awareness is probably the most powerful read of everything I've come across (bit easier, more accessible than TWTL imo) But may be it's just me - feel free to make your own experiences And as always, Thank you Aubrey for reminding and inspirating! ✨🤝
