I know many say this sort of thing but, I knew this man. He and his wife were at my parents wedding 30 years ago and, my brothers and I grew up with their children. We remain friends to this day. He had been placed on a majority Muslim wing and, had been harassed and attacked multiple times over the past couple of months. "Somehow" the other inmates had known about his "crimes". He was living in constant fear.
