Are these eels farmed? Many things that we traditionally considered delicacies are unsustainable. Let’s all take a break from this insensitive waste of resources. We know better today. We should know better.

He actually has a set up where he keeps them fresh and supported so he can serve them well past the season in specialized tanks....also these eel aren't endangered as other species. they're regulated as to how much and when the fishermen can catch them so as to allow for better preservation of their population
