Had an exact day like yours today at the tech college....setting up a 5 axis program that was supposedly run before with no issues....there were lots, but learned a ton and had a good time while trouble shooting. Keep up the good work, your channel is such a wealth of knowledge for me as I complete machining school and looking to get a tormach 770MX soon for the home shop.

Those little workshop pixies are a nuisance! Always hiding stuff in my workshop 😂

That slotting head does do a good job. Still waiting for the right job to come around so I can use mine for the first time. Regards, Preso

Hi there! Yes the slotting head is rough and basic, but well proportioned. Regards, Cliff

Days? I've had weeks like that. Just do what you can to get ahead and try not to get bogged down so far that potential solutions become invisible.

Yeah, that's it! Cheers, Cliff

That is a perfectly phrased bit of wisdom there. Think I'll put that in my shop somewhere to remind me when I need to hear it.

I got really worried there for a second. In the thumbnail it sorta looks like a destroyed spindle taper.
