I wonder how you protect these from the weather ? The garden looks lovely as well😊

You don't really need to if you use nickel-silver track and plastic/polymer based models. Obviously the trains have to come back inside at the end of the day and the track needs a clean. I think the outdoor OO layout I used to play with as a kid was treated to a light oil coating after running and a cleanup with white spirit before running.

Nice to see some low level shots with trains running at realistic speeds. Nice railway.

Realistic speeds! You are clearly taking the piss I trust? The only realistic ones are when they stop!
@Curly4720012 жыл бұрын
@@robertgraffham6440 It was a bit tongue in cheek. In his videos they are all running far too fast and always from high up. Whenever I film mine, most of the time the video is taken from track level. rgds

It's giving the trains more distance to travel rather than in a small oval.

How do you prevent the tracks from buckling in warmer weather and prevent gaps from opening in cold weather?
@trollyboiiss9222 Жыл бұрын
a good idea is to add bullet trains .E.g. pendelino or something like that but very cool and would love to have that in my garden

It baffles me how someone wouldn’t pull their hair out trying to model outside at this scale.
