Their live performances are better than their record. Not every band can do that. They have a looooot of amazing songs, pls do check them out. ❤

Let me just say that a lot of people tend to equate simple sounding songs to lesser musicians. One ok Rock has "simple" songs as well as musically technical songs. Just because these guys aren't doing crazy solos and double basses in every song, does not mean that they can't do that - that's actually very far from the case for these guys (I've seen it). All of their songs are extremely powerful/energetic and thought out and it shows in all of their live performances. As someone who writes songs, I have known plenty of people in my life who can shred on guitar but who also cannot compose songs for the life of them. When you're in a band, it's not about showing off, it's about coming up with your sound as a whole and doing the most within those constraints without doing too much. Sure the bassist and guitarist in this band are flawless and can shred as well, but them doing that wouldn't add anything to the song's impact or meaning. Just wanted to say that since you talked about the 2nd rate musician thing..Anyway, I'm glad you liked the video and you should check out "Deeper Deeper" live performance by them as well, it's similar to this song and just as energetic imo.

Mighty Long Fall is a song and I think when they did this concert, they just released MLF as a single, therefore, they named the concert after the song to promote it. This concert is my all time fave because of the setlist and the setup :D

Yay! I've been waiting for your next reaction of OOR! I was impressed and really enjoyed your first one. I don't say this lightly but I'll be honest and say that I think your reactions to the band are one of the best on KZbin. You actually have meaningful, relevant things to say about them and their performance. Really appreciate that. Anyway, Taka (yes you got his name right) mentioned in an interview with Kerrang last year that while it was hard to choose, "Mighty Long Fall" is the song he wants to be remembered for. It's not difficult to see why! The song is as you say so energetic with a great beat. It's hard to give suggestions for more songs to react to because they have so many amazing songs, but try Deeper Deeper (you will like the intro), We Are (the subtitled 18 Fes version; it's worth understanding their message in this song), Clock Strikes, C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h., Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer, and there's so many more I want to recommend but as I expected, this is turning into a very long list. The music videos are fine but the live versions are where they really shine. Hope we won't have to wait another two weeks for your next OOR reaction!

Oh, and you mentioned Taka's "clean performance." You are right but that only makes it more fun/funny when he messes up! Haha. And yes, he does forget lyrics and such once in a while. The audience is always ready to forgive him though. Watch their performance of "Jibun ROCK" (じぶんROCK in Japanese) from the Jinsei x Kimi (人生 x君) tour for one of Taka's cutest fumbles. I swear this song is cursed because there's at least three recorded performances of this song where something happens LoL.
