I'm glad you enjoyed my recommendation. The members are Taka (lead singer), Ryota (bass), Toru (guitar) and Tomoya (drums). As you can see, they have a large fan base in Japan and are also becoming increasingly well-known internationally. I had the pleasure to see them live in Germany last year. It was at a smaller venue with about 3,000 people, but it was an amazing experience. If you get the chance to see them live , don't miss it! They have been to the US too and I'm sure they will go there again. Taka writes many of the lyrics and he wants to deliver a meaningful message. He has not only a great voice, he's also a very emotional singer and his interaction with the crowd is awesome. OOR is a rabbit hole to go down. They have soft ballads, hard rock songs with growls and screams and everything in between. There is something for everyone. Check out "Take what you want" from the same tour (AMBITIONS JAPAN DOME TOUR), "I was king" (orchestra version), "Good Goodbye" (an acoustic song), Renegades (co-written by Ed Sheeran) etc. They have so many bangers. In Japan, they pronounce their band name as "One O'Crock" (derived from "One o'clock", the time they practiced in the studio because it was cheaper to rent it at night). Outside of Japan, however, they introduce themselves as ONE OK(ay) ROCK and that's how Taka has said their name in English interviews.

They are slowly working on being popular in the US. They even have songs that were co-produced by Ed Sheeran, Brendon Urie, Mike Shonda, etc. Taka is making his connections in LA. Also fun fact, their bassist (Ryota) is married to Avril Lavigne’s sister.

Fun fact . Taka was extremely sick during this . Delayed the concert by 50 mins and this was the last song of a 2 hr set . Fight the night orchestra version . Thanks for the reaction! OOR is such an amazing band...Taka's voice is so incredible! OOR finished their world tour and also did an open act for Muse in North America and the EU (Taka lives in L.A.) The dome's capacity is 55,000. Their concerts are extremely popular, and tickets are sold by lottery, but the chances of winning are low. They do come to the USA. They did 20 cities and 3 in Canada in 2022. I was blessed with seeing them live. Epic. Out of this world. Check out some of the fan cams from luxury disease tour. They are amazing. Obviously I'm going to recommend live videos but their MV are master pieces too. What a great reaction and welcome to OOR. OOR is fantastic on stage and they arrange songs for the live performance. Perhaps a good idea for you to check out studio version with lyrics first then do reaction to live version in the same video if possible so that you can understand songs and appreciate more live version. In my 38 years of listening to rock music, OOR is the best of all in terms of live performance including audience, instrumentation, song arrangement, song writing quality, best rock frontman, positivity vive from each band member. I am not sure if you like more on hard rock side of OOR or softer side of OOR. I highly recommend, One Ok Rock Take me to the top(2016 Nagaisen live) and only very few reacted to this one in KZbin... You really need to check out their most popular song "The beginning" live at Yokohama stadium Mighty Long Fall tour. It's usually the best song to check out when you go down the OOR rabbit hole. Songs like "We Are" aren't really their typical sound because they're much softer with a more pop rock vibe to them. Also worth knowing, in Japanese the pronunciation is one o'clock, named after the time they would practice. Outside of Japan they just go with ONE OK ROCK.

Thank you for responding to them! they are really great! Many people have recommended songs, so I will refrain from doing so. One thing I would like to make sure of is that they are the best at LIVE, so please be sure to check out the LIVE version. However, both the lyrics and the MV are great, so the best thing to do is to check out the MV with lyrics and then check out the LIVE. LIVE really takes it to another level.

Every fan will say they're better live, here are some recommendations: Stand out fit in (Luxury disease tour, Japan), I was king (orchestra version), Take what you want (Tokyo Dome, 2018), Renegades (Luxury disease tour) but there are many more. They made some covers as well, e.g. Hello and Easy on me from Adele. Hope you'll enjoy these! :)

Loved One Ok Rock for years, now. My favorite is Take What You Want (live), which is very emotional. Other favorites are Clock Strikes and Mighty Long Fall (both Yokohama concert). They are my second favorite Japanese Band, bracketed by Wagakki in 3rd (try Tsukini Sakebuyoru from them) and the incredible Band Maid in 1st place. You have checked them out with Domination. I also love Daydreaming and the duel song set (live of Manners and Black Hole).

​@@user_abcdefuuuI saw them in June, in Prague, Czechia. The venue was very small (around 700 people) & let me tell you, it was the best concert I've ever been to. Not just them being absolutely amazing but all the interactions!? I was in the first raw, could touch the stage if I wanted, held hands with all of them & talked to Taka after the concert. @@user_abcdefuuu not big as their Japan tours but bigger than the US and Europe. The capacity in the venue they played in Manila is around 15k. Yes they are good, same energy and talent as Japan tour. I have been in their Saitama concert in Japan last April and I can say it’s still the same level of energy.

@@InstanRamen Their name has always been that way BUT its pronounced differently. The band understood & accepted that westerners would not know to pronounce it. So when people say One Ok Rock...they have no issues with it. I was pointing out what this reactor said on pronouncing it in his video after the 1 minute mark to let him know the real way.
