Today we have the holy grail of vintage Fender finds, a one-owner pairing of a 1959 Twin-amp in the high-power configuration, and a matching 1959 Esquire, as well as the owner's old Fender volume pedal! You couldn't ask for a cooler set. Trevor is back from vacation and he's here to tell you all about this combo, before Nick takes over for the demo!

Dark circuit on the Esquires and the Broadcasters don't seem quite as "dark" to my ear as on the post 51 Teles. Norm had the old Billy Gibbons Jesus Just Left Chicago Broadcaster and the dark setting was actually useable.

See the 6:00 minute mark. Same question could be asked about the tone knob. All the way back you get straight pickup, middle position you can use the tone knob, all the way forward you get the muted Jazz tone.

Did he have the amp volume on 1 or lower? That guitar and amp should have peeled all of the paint off of the walls and made anyone within 25 feet sterile.
