Another great video! I'm definitely going to try to get my hands on these rules. They sounds like a good way to broaden my Napoleonics experience. Also glad to hear you praising Absolute Emperor, and SUPER excited to hear you will be making more content on that game.

You inspired me to try Absolute Emperor and I really enjoy them. I do use the 'zoomed in' variant described in the book and I admit, I have increased the command range. Your games of Chainmail had me curious about 2mm and i also grabbed a couple of armies there too. Ongonig inspiration from the Joy of Wargaming, as alwys.

Dear Mr. Wargaming, While diving through the web i stumbled over something that not only catched my interest but reminded me of your videos about "en garde". Eureka Miniatures has a 40mm-Miniature line themed after the three musketeers and created a game for them called "And One For All!!!" The rules are free to download from Eureka's webpage. Funny dice pool-system! For each action you make with a figure you add 1 dice to your pool, roll them and test if you roll a 1. Throwing the vase on the table at the enemy, sliding over a table, swinging on a chandelier... Get creative! The action automatically succeeds but if a 1 is rolled the initiative goes to the next player. Combat is called a "duel". You roll dice equal to the models rating + boni from elevation etc. + action-pool vs. the enemies rating in dice and who scores higher causes hits. Those are converted into pushes, stunns, dropping the weapon and wounds. So you basically gamble how often you can perform actions without rolling a 1 (with an increasing chance to fail every time you try) so that you can deal a mighty blow in a duel. It reminds me of "Crossfire" but with a much smaller model-count and even more accessible to everyone. The rules fit on 4 pages and (again) are free so everyone interested can get extremely quick into the game. Thanks for reading, have a nice day! P.s.: Please excuse the off-topic comment but i had to inform you and this seemed to be the fastest and easiest way.

50p / 50 new pence / 10 shillings... a fair price for that bit of DIY desktop publishing. It has indeed doubled in price since originally typed up.

It's never too early to start. Just maybe avoid the smaller dice.

I’ve had this in my house for years and never once read it. I’m interested to hear your take 😊

For context, mine came free when I bought some 2mm minis.
