Cops did nothing went to court got restraining order again and he broke in week later. After the we went to court and he no showed. Got caught 3 months later and got a fu****ng probation before judgment because they were fent addict. We moved and I bought a gun which I don’t like. But the system needs to severely stop and have 20+ years for breaking into homes. I don’t know why people get 30 for drugs, but like p.b.j or 5 months.

If everybody received just 20 gifts, and there are let's say only 20 streamers. That's still 400 items, each taking a minute to scan properly. That's almost 7 hours of a person checking items. Now imagine 100 streamers getting 20+ gifts.

The average fan has no idea what she looks like, and the fact that incidents like this happen as infrequently as they do is proof of how well that works. If someone is dedicated enough to finding out where someone lives, they will do it no matter how many obstacles you put in the way. If this dude was able to put a tracker in a gift and drive all the way to where she lives, he was going to find out one way or another no matter how many precautions she took. An idol was tracked down by the reflection of her eye in a picture: people who are that dedicated will find a way no matter what. The best way to prevent this from happening again to other Vtubers is to react appropriately to this incident and make it VERY clear that we don't tolerate stalkers.

I think giving up your dream home and gifts from fans is almost like letting them win. "If I can't have you, no one can" kind of mentality. IDK how much this person makes, but, tbh, if they are big enough, say you are moving, hire some security, and have some screening people for gifts at events to spite them and continue doing what you love. Do a fundraiser for it and I am sure peeps would help raise that money. You shouldn't have to give up things you love for people like that. I guess that would cost a fortune and is unrealistic to a degree. I only know of this person from this event in general, but I wish them the best no matter what the future holds for them. Much love.

I had the pleasure of meeting Camilla at Weebcon; she was extremely genial and welcoming, even though I freely admitted I was hardly a regular to her streams (I mostly watch her through collabs) and just wanted to say hi and inform her of the excellent Lebanese restaurant nearby, as she's the only Vtuber I'm aware of who shares that ethnic background with me and would be able to appreciate the experience. This whole incident is beyond appalling and in a civilized nation would carry the death penalty. I'm glad no one was physically hurt and hopefully this freak gets what he deserves for irreparably harming not just Camila, but her family, friends, community, and Vtubing as a whole.

This is incredibly depressing to hear, I don't watch Camila at all nor did I know about her until this happened, but look at how one incident can practically ruin a Vtuber's career and possibly her life.
