So the government doesn't think luffy as a rookie anymore. He is equal to yonko commander but more threatening because of his family and declaration of war to world government most sacred places three times (enies lobby, impel down, marineford). This chapter was hype! Luffy is getting that body workout even if it's a little, but can't use his haki due to the sea stone handcuffs. Queen's introduction shows he's not an Okama, or he must really love Komurasaki. That bath scene was tasteful, but don't know if Sanji was really there. The backstory of Old man Hyogoro's past shows he needs to escape with Luffy to accomplish the recruiting goal. Kawamatsu is going to go Hamm next chapter. Knew he was going to play a role, but we all knew.

i think he can't use haki not directly because the handcuff, but more likely because of seastone drain strength or stamina of devil fruit user to the point luffy can't use his haki because he is weaker than his initial state. remember spamming or overusing haki may drain the haki user to the point they can't use haki until they regain their strength. in one piece old fighter become weaker compare to their prime and make them not be able to spam or even use their haki, rayleigh said he can't use his conqueror haki after he spammed twice conqueror haki at human action house. whitebeard didn't use his conqueror haki in marineford probably it was not best thing to do with his weaker state. idk, maybe i am wrong

I really hope we'll see Smoker and Tashigi (and Vegapunk) during Wano. We saw most of the Straw Hats' friends and the Marines in between arcs and at the Reverie except for them. And the children's storyline still hasn't had closure. I think this means they're all going to be part of a big Vegapunk reveal coming soon. And it would make sense for Vegapunk to be involved in Wano with all the artificial Devil Fruits, including Momo's faulty fruit that he himself created.

Something that I heard in someone else's chapter review for 935 was that a mobile yonko crew, which is a category Shanks' and Luffy's crews fall under, is more dangerous than a stationary crew. This point is actually which factors into both Shanks fame and Luffy's current inflated bounty. Immediately after I heard that I was more... willing, I suppose is the word, to accept the jump in the bounty that Luffy got. Although, taking Morgan's words into consideration does put Luffy's actions in an "I planned and executed a perfect strategy" sort of light... The simple fact that The Straw Hats can appear anywhere, wreak havoc and just disappear again is a huge headache for the World Government.

Well, bounties are perceived threat levels. Someone who regularly crushes islands is going to have a higher bounty than someone who just kinda coasts around (which is why Kidd had a higher bounty than Luffy on Sabaody). Kaido's commanders may have just been around longer and caused more destruction in their own right than Katakuri or the other Big Mom pirates.

So in case you don't recall, in Alabasta Devil Fruit powers were explained to rely on a characters stamina. When they were locked in the sea stone cages luffy exclaims that the sea stone drains his Stamina. Haki according to Luffy in G4 exhausts his stamina as well. I also recall Rayliegh associating Haki usage with Stamina. It's possible that Sea Stone simply affects a DF users stamina. I think that on any non DF Haki user the cuffs would have no effect on their Stamina.

Queen is funny as hell along with crab joke man. I always thought sea stone wrecked devil fruit users making them weak like the sea where they can’t even move but someone like Zoro can swim fine and so should be able to use haki with sea stone on

Honestly 1.5 billion is not exactly overhyped. Alot of things luffy did never warrented an increase in bounty. Like how he defeated enel or hody or the things that happened at punk hazard or the impel down breakout they did not want to give him too much credit and also the moria take down.

Honestly, heard an interesting idea on how Luffy will escape the prison on a MangaStream forum earlier today. Anyway, the basic premise of the idea was that Raizo would free Kawamatsu then precede to ask him to help free Luffy which would lead to Kawamatsu sniping the key into Luffy's handcuffs (like he did with the fish bones earlier) which Luffy would proceed to turn and maybe start to fight Queen. Anyhow, does anyone have any thought on this idea?!

@ Sawyer7mage I have a serious question why is everyone saying Luffy's bounty is to high? Luffy pre-Time skip destroyed defeated 2 warlords, Enies Lobby, and broke out of impel down. Most pirates would require a yonko type fleet to achieve luffy feats pre timeskip. Then post time skip to the public Luffy is making the yonko look like a joke. Isn't 1.5b to the public in one piece to low?

so if seastone makes you unable to use haki, does that mean you can't use haki while in water? or does seastone have some other element imbued in it that drains haki? really makes you configure a percentage of your intellectual prowess in order to conteplate this conundrum 🤔🤔🤔

I was also wondering about that haki thing... I don't think it makes sense that haki and sea stone negate DF abilities but sea stone also negates haki. I think it has to be an adjustment of sorts because the whole imprisonment thing seems to be a habit for the beast pirates and haki would be a problem.

I'm calling it was Ryuma's sword that was stolen. If you look at the panel with Hyou, he was holding that sword and I bet one of his subordinates saw it grabbed it.
