What if Luffy and Shanks are in a fight, as they seem to have to confront each other. Luffy gives back the straw hat before the fight starts. Some combination of the other characters fight Loki. Blackbeard comes in and kills Loki when he is weakened. Blackbeard steals Loki’s devil fruit and with his new powers he interrupts the fight between Luffy and Shanks, killing Shanks before Luffy’s eyes…

Three devil fruits, three skulls, three guns on his holster, etc. I am not saying this is a guarantee theory but if we assume that Blackbeard kills Loki and that Loki is tied to wolves in some way, Cereberus is a good way of connecting the dots.

I don't think Elbaph will be like other arcs. Elbaph feels like it will be an arc that the Strawhats lose, the Strawhats have different big bads to defeat, or Loki will be defeated at a later date. This could include that davy back fight with the Red Hair pirates and others

Interestingly, these options are not all mutually exclusive. We could very well see Luffy and Usopp teaming up against Loki, or Kid taking him down right before Teach steals his fruit. I personally think adding these together would be even better, allowing Oda to develop multiple characters at the same time. The only person who doesn't really fit is Zoro. All the others could take some part in Loki's defeat. For example, we could have: *Now (beginning of the arc)* -> Luffy frees loki. -> Loki clashes with Luffy. -> *some time passes (midpoint of the arc)* -> Loki challenges Usopp. -> My goat somehow wins. -> *some time passes (climax of the arc)* -> Kid fights Loki . -> Kid wins 1v1 against a Top Tier. -> *some time passes (end of the arc)* -> Teach finds Loki. -> Loki dies and Teach steals his fruit.

My thoughts are that Loki is the final boss like oars jr was on thriller bark. My current theory is that we don’t see group 2 fight Loki as they have to deal with some other problem on elbaff that hasn’t been introduced yet. So it becomes a 6 on 1 and a 4 on 1 team fight.

Kid's story was explained more in depht in a SBS. Basically Kid and Killer were both leaders of rival gangs but after the death of a loved one they made an alliance to overthrown a stronger criminal gang that ruled their home country. After that, they created the Kid pirates and sailed to the sea along with other 2 gang leaders (Heat and Wire). You should check it out!

That's simple: Luffy will fight with Loki, but it gets interrupted or he gets away. Then Zoro would test his skills against him, gets joined by Kidd who weaken him and ultimately Usopp knocks him out for good, but then Blackbeard appears and steals his DF. 😉

For me if he’s the main antagonist, Oda’s speeding up the plot of Elbaf. If he’s not and misunderstood, it’s a possibility that he clashes with Luffy and is reminded of a time where he battled someone grander and it’ll make him join Luffy for the next and final arc.
